We had been to several other dealerships in the St. Louis area and were beginning to lose faith. While we have bought numerous cars in the past and had good experiences, we had never ran into such a string of unfriendly, arrogant, and unhelpful dealers as we did this year. That was, until we came to Sunset Ford, and met with Keith. Keith was friendly and helpful from the time we spoke on the phone. He was low pressure, and seemed to truly care about us. He even worked out the closing details to meet with our crazy schedule. The sale was easy, but the vehicle needed a few items completed to be ready for pick up. That's where the manager, John Wesley, came in. John went to great lengths to get the vehicle ready for us in minimal time, and took great care to ensure that our needs were not only met, but exceeded. He was friendly, supportive, and really helped make the entire process run smoothly. During the payment process, we worked with Treff LaPlant. He was very nice. In paying for the vehicle, I inadvertantly forgot to include $0.43 in payment. Without skipping a beat, Treff took some change from his drawer, and deposited it into the envelope - without saying a word. I asked him about it, and after pressing, he admitted that he was making up the $0.43 shortfall in my payment. Wow...that was very nice. It's not much money, but it was attitude that was impressive. I would not hesitate to purchase another car from Sunset Ford, or recommend these individuals to a friend. Thanks! More
