Bought the 2020 Corvette from Sunset and everything has been great. They give free oil changes for life with mileage exceptions. They gladly relaxed those exceptions for me to fit my schedule. Three weeks ago my tires were rotated with no mention of needing new rear brakes. I heard a squeaking noise brought it back in and was then told I need new rear brakes because they were at 2mm. Was charged needing new rear brakes. I heard a squeaking noise brought it back in and was then told I need new rear brakes because they were at 2mm. Was charged $47 for this diagnosis. I took it to be evaluated by Schwab tires and was told rear brakes are at 5 mm and do not need to be replaced at this time. I feel like I cannot trust Sunset to give me the truth and just want to charge me for various services that are not needed. I’m frustrated that I paid $47 for a false evaluation. At this point I would not recommend Sunset Chevrolet to friends and family. More
