My wife and I felt very welcomed and was allowed the “give me a second” time to discuss choices. Our salesman Dino did a great job not harassing us or making us feel pressured into a buy. I took my silverado in for a 100,000 mile cooling system flush and a recall fix on the passenger side airbag. After being serviced, my heater/ac fan no longer worked. Hmmmm. Coincidence? Apparently so, acco flush and a recall fix on the passenger side airbag. After being serviced, my heater/ac fan no longer worked. Hmmmm. Coincidence? Apparently so, according to the service dept. Not convinced $800 dollars later. Seems most repairs are quotes at about $800. Also, i was told that the repair wouldnt be done till monday ( this was friday afternoon). When i asked to pick up the truck and bring it back monday, luckily the technician was able to get it done by 4:30 friday. Good for me, but was it so i couldn't take it elsewhere for cheaper, or do myself? Leaves me to wonder and to question whether i will return for more services. On a more positive note, they havent screwed up on oil changes, however, and they have gotten faster at them over the years.. More
Only reason I picked 2 is due to the interaction I had with Jake at service. Apparently there was a mixup as to how the appointment was made. Jake told me I was down for an appointment that had me leaving with Jake at service. Apparently there was a mixup as to how the appointment was made. Jake told me I was down for an appointment that had me leaving and coming back. I told him no that had to be a mistake I live in Lakewood and didn’t have a way to get back home and don’t have anyone out there I can go to to visit while my oil change gets done anyways I didn’t even know that was a thing. He barked back at me and told me well you know the phone calls are recorded all of them are. And then I said well I don’t really care if the phone call was recorded or not, which I took that as a threat. Jake said we’re not gonna be able to get it done in a couple hours..I was like my dog just had major surgery that’s the reason why I didn’t want to leave it here for the day or for the appointment to take longer than a couple hours I need to be home with him. He did not acknowledge me when I said this. So he goes to entering things in the computer and asked me for my cell phone number(which is already in the system) so that he can call me when my truck is done. So I tell him yet again that I am not going anywhere I have nowhere to go that I need to wait in the lobby and he then reassures me that he can’t guarantee when it will be done and will likely be around 4 hours. I shrug my shoulders wondering if he heard anything I said and walk off hoping for the best and it actually worked out my truck did get it’s oil change done in under two hours. I was so glad. I’m not the type of person to complain but he definitely did rub me the wrong way no eye contact, no smile, and just wasn’t empathetic towards my situation regardless of whether I made the mistake of making an appointment to wait there in the lobby or leave and come back(which he never verified) or get dropped off and come back. It shouldn’t matter really. He may have been having a bad day but he came off aloof and he came off that he just didn’t care about my situation and he didn’t ask to figure out why I was so adamant about waiting in the lobby(he wasn’t really listening to me). It didn’t matter to him. Maybe he doesn’t like dealing with females however this is my fourth truck that I bought from you guys and again I don’t normally complain but I’ve gotten an email request to fill out the survey four times now so here I am filling this out and here you go. We'd follow Dan Dillon anywhere!! He tells it like it is and treats us like family (but not in a creepy car salesperson's way)! If you need a new or used car, give Dan a call. We had a much better experienc and treats us like family (but not in a creepy car salesperson's way)! If you need a new or used car, give Dan a call. We had a much better experience at Sunset Chevrolet this time around! We got the car we wanted and were able to keep our payments where we wanted them! More
