I had check in hand from my bank that Sunset Chevrolet had faxed all paperwork to. Full coverage insurance for 2 1/2 weeks on the vehicle I was purchasing. I was given the run around and not contacted when I was told I would be. Bottom line was they wanted more money for the vehicle I was buying. I was finally told they "needed $5000 more for the vehicle" The vehicle is still for sale at their original asking price which is $1800 more than what I had signed papers on. More
We were very happy with Sunset until our last visit, which will be our last visit. We brought my Yukon in for service feeling that there was a problem with the transmition, the warranty only had a week which will be our last visit. It was kept for a week, no one from sunset called us to tell us anything, we had to call them and at the end of the week we were told they couldn't find a problem and if one come up after the warranty is up we are tough out of luck, we are just going to have to pay for it. So we pick it up and at that time were told we would have to pay $107 eventhough no work was done on the car. It would have been nice if someone would have called ahead of time to let us know. More

My husband wanted to go down to Sunset Chevrolet to look at SUV's. I wasn't really excited about buying a new vehicle, but the moment we got out of our vehicle, Dave Goeke (one of the many salesmen) greeted us with smiles, asked what we were interested in and not once was pushy. He let us look around, answered all of our questions. The greatest part for me personally was we took our 2 puppies with us and Dave also let us put them in the back of the Chevy Equinox we were interested in to see how they would fit. Not a lot of places would have allowed that. I can honestly say they have an excellent team, all the way from Finance, to Sales, to their service department. Each and everytime you walk in there they make you feel like you are the 1 and only customer, you leave satisfied. Almost like family. They work with you to get you out the door with the vehicle you want, also the finance department made everything painless & easy. Not only do they offer free oil changes for life, they also now have free car washes anytime. I will say if anyone is interested in buying a new or used vehicle, Sunset Chevrolet would be the place to go. Ask for Dave Goeke and he will take care of you the moment you step out of your vehicle. Dave knows what his guests like and how to help you 100%. Enjoy the experience, you will never buy a vehicle anywhere else. More

We usually buy because we like the look of something not because it is needed. This time it was 2 2012 Silverado's we are very happy. The service team there are also very pleasant to work with. I went to another dealer and bought a vehicle, I had It less than one week my heart wasn't in it all around it didn't fit me. That was a Sunday the following Friday I went to Sunset Chev and they made it better by putting me in vehicle the sales consultant knew I would love. Sunset Chev is the best! Financing makes it painless they always have the papers ready so we can sign and get out in the new vehicles. Free oil changes are a bonus, although the service dept is friendly and they make it easy to call or stop in with questions. I'll say it again, Sunset Chevrolet is the BEST! Pricing has always been one of the reasons we've been able to almost always have a new car or truck in our driveway! Dave knows what his guests like and how to help them get it! More
The actual buying experience was great. There was some issues after the purchase. We found out a week later that we hadnt actually been approved the day walked out with the new car. My son and I bought 2 used Chevrolet trucks in April from Sunset Chevrolet. This was my first set of personal experiences with the dealership. I had heard their ads on the radio for several years. In a nutshell, I would rate the buying experience among the top 2 in a lifetime of numerous car purchases. DJ (Darrin) was the sales rep for both purchases. He was superb. DJ followed through on everything he said he would do -- from questions during the investigative stages through delivery of the vehicles (including all promises made). I found DJ to be a good professional. He was thorough and friendly throughout. He worked appropriately for the sale. He was anxious to serve, yet wasn't high-pressure. There was zero "sleaze factor" -- and you certainly can find plenty of that as you are looking to buy a vehicle. We ordered a couple things from the Parts Department for installation by the Sunset Service Department. Both Parts and Service performed well. Everything happened as needed, with full satisfaction. The sales rep (DJ) was additionally helpful in this process. It seemed there was good respect and rapport between Sales, Parts and Service -- a factor important to me. Additionally, Rochelle was excellent to work with on all the paperwork -- trade-ins, service contract, etc. After almost 2 months, we are very pleased with the trucks we purchased. I bought a 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500 diesel pickup. I had several accessories installed on the truck that my wife and I wanted. It took a couple of days for everything to be done and I was never left wondering how things were going, because our salesman Dave Goeke called to inform me of every step, including when the truck was finished and when to pick it up. The truck was done on time, all work done as promised. .. Now about my salesman, Dave Goeke: The best salesman ever. He is knowlegable,friendly,and was not pushy. I had several questions about the Duramax engine and Allison transmision and he took the time to have the service tech from the shop(I think his name was Scott)come out and talk to me and answered all questions that I had. The dedication they have to their customers was proven to me as Scott was off work and on his way home and still was very happy to talk to me. Price, best salesman ever, knowlegable friendly service personnel, everything I need is at Sunset Chevrolet. More

RIP OFF ALERT.... Stay AWAY From Sunset Chevy in Sumner and Bonney Lake, WA.!!!! This was the worst car buying experience of our lives! My wife and I were pressured like never before to buy a truck that we didn’t even want. The salesman made me give him my ssn before I could test drives a vehicle. Then I received a phone call and the salesman started harassing my wife and demanding information from her like her ssn. When I got off the phone she told me what had happened and how uncomfortable she felt. We quickly got out of there and went to another dealer. At the next dealer we found out that that sunset salesman ran my credit without my permission. STAY AWAY!!!!! I did get a call from that salesman later that day. He was now willing to “throw in the kitchen sink" and his manager said that they would give me a screaming deal. Yea, because they already ran my credit..Yet the manager or the owner didn’t feel we deserve a call from them. Probably to busy ripping people off…. More
