Poor service after the sale I recently bought a truck from the used car dealership. Service after the sale is why I would not recommend Sunset Chevrolet to anyone looking for a car/truck. In the deal we had things we wanted to be fixed on our truck that we were purchasing. We were told to take it to the service department at the new dealership...we did .... the truck pulled to the right and it had a shimmy at 30-50 mph . I Figured it was out of alignment and needed tires balanced. 3 of the 4 tires were bad after replacing the tires I was told truck was good ...it was not after several attempts to get them to fix the truck... I took the truck to Les Schwab and had the tires rebalanced and the truck aligned properly at the cost of $150. Most importantly when I was trying to get my truck fixed as per what was written into the deal. I dealt with the used car sales manager, the general sales manager of both dealerships and the service department. I was treated with disrespect and contempt for asking Sunset Chevrolet to do the right thing and to honor what they had committed to. More

Buy a car if you want a lifetime of problems . I bought a 2 yr old car that was supposedly the service managers trade in. This car has been nothing but coolant issue problems. The service techs don’t care if your problem ever gets fixed and will tell you everything is normal. More

I'm an idiot So I recently changed the oil in my daughters car. Later that day the engine light came on. I couldnt figure out why, so I took it to Sunset. From the appointment process to the turn in of the car...first class treatment. But when they discovered the problom... they displayed true professionalism. My oil cap wasnt on tight...I'm such an idiot...but they were awesom and didnt laugh at me for such a silly mistake and didnt charge me what I was expecting....bonus!!!
