I Bought my custom ordered 2006 Limited Avalon from Sunrise Toyota back in the end of 2005. I have had my car servuced there ever since. Once the Dealer was sold they took away my Platinum Lifetime b Sunrise Toyota back in the end of 2005. I have had my car servuced there ever since. Once the Dealer was sold they took away my Platinum Lifetime benefits (free oil changes for life, 15% off any service, parts, or accessories, pluch more) Ok so I sucked it up to new ownership. Then I brought my car in for routine service. When I got the car back, my "good Luck" money that was put in it when the car was new was all gone. They scraped up one rim and left rags in the engine compartment. After a fight they replaced the rim but would not budge on my money being taken out. Now time has passed... I recently (9/10/12) brought my car in for an oil change and to have the Factory Remote Start looked at(VIP RES). They are under new ownership and even worse. They changed the oil, and then when I got there they told me that the remote start ECU was shot and they don't know how to fix it!! They offered to add another aftermarket one to they car. My car is under warranty so I said NO!. When I got in my car the power windows did not work, moon roof did not work, rear deck was taken off and hanging, seat memory lost, and the radio presets were lost. Now pissed, I went back in there to tell them and they said it was not their responsibility to reprogram the car. WHAT!! I never had this happen before. So I asked about the rear deck - they said they don't know what I was talking about. when I showed them they tech finally admitted he was looking at the rear sunshade and could not get the cover back on properly. I had to initialize the windows and fix the panel myself. Poor service!! I am now taking my car to Smithtown Toyota - so far they fixed everything and everything was still working. They said they have to plug in the techstream into the ODBC then disconnect the battery and that will keep the memory of everything. More
I recently dropped my car off for servicing, when my car was returned to me items were missing from the center console. It's not the value of what was taken that annoys me, it is the unprofessionalism that was returned to me items were missing from the center console. I take responsibility for leaving valuables in the center console but I believe this still should not happen. I will not be returning here under any circumstances. More
My experience with this dealership was FANTASTIC!! My sales man Tom Sweeney was very knowledgeable and friendly. I visited the dealership on recommendation from a friend. I had been driving 2 caravans for about 15 years. I wanted better fuel efficiency but was very nervous about downsizing. Tom Sweeney was very patient and eased my concerns. Hes very good at what he does, knowledgable and seemed to know what I wanted & needed before I did! I had never even seen the new Camry and he told me take it for a drive, I came back & knew I wanted it and bought the 1 one he picked out for me. He went above and beyond in taking care of me, my trade, saving me $100 a month and getting me what I wanted. It was a perfect experience beginning to end..quick & easy! I was extremely happy with the customer service I received from the moment I arrived on the lot until the moment I drove my new toyota away. I worked with Melvin Robinson who was really quite a friendly and appreciative guy who we found very helpful. He not only treated us like valued customers, but we genuinely felt appreciated for our business and loyalty.After visiting a lot of other dealerships, I can honestly say that this dealership is on a whole other level. We delt with Cathy in finance who was wonderfully friendly. She took care of all of the dmv and finance paperwork for us, making the process very easy. Melvin took me for a test ride and made the price negotiation enjoyable. I dealt with Jeff Bratisax in the Business Office and he was also very helpful and courteous. I am hoping that their Service staff is just as good as the sales department. More
