I went to Sunrise Ford looking for a new Focus and was very pleased to find that they had the exact car I was looking for. After shopping around at other dealers and getting frustrated with all the games very pleased to find that they had the exact car I was looking for. After shopping around at other dealers and getting frustrated with all the games and nonsense that seems to be the normal when shopping for a car, the salesperson (Ron) at Sunrise Ford was straightforward, honest, made the price I was paying for the car easy to understand, and had the car I wanted. They made the whole experience very pleasant. After the transaction was complete, the manager came out to where we were programming my cellphone into the car and made sure everything was ok, which was a nice touch. Kudos to Sunrise Ford. I have already recommended my sister to go to sunrise when shes ready to get a new car. Thanks More
I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership in the last 10 years. I went in to trade my car in and look at some lease deals. I thought for sure this dealer would give me the best deal considering my l last 10 years. I went in to trade my car in and look at some lease deals. I thought for sure this dealer would give me the best deal considering my loyalty to this dealership. I couldn't have been more WRONG!!! The actual sales guy I worked with was AWESOME! He was very patient, showed me everything I wanted to see, and just let me compare the 3 cars I was looking at. I would highly recommend him as a sales person. However, as soon as he had to turn it over to the finance guys, everything went out the door. They brought numbers to me that were outrageous saying that I was crazy to think I could walk out with this vehicle for less. I have amazing credit, and they said the lowest percentage Ford was offering was 5.99%. If I had been a rookie car purchaser, they might have sold me a car with everything they were telling me, but luckily I know when I am being scammed. I saw an ad in the paper a few days later at a different dealership which convinced me to call them. Not only did they give me numbers on a vehicle over the phone without asking for my salary info, but they were not pushy! Within 10 minutes, they had offered me a deal on an equivalent vehicle that was $300 less per month than what Sunrise had offered me (1.9% rate). I even called Sunrise to tell them about the deal, and they still couldn't come up with even close to the same deal. I now have a brand new vehicle from a different Ford dealership that I had no previous relationship with, but will have my business from now on. Unbelievable!! More

Also had a small issue with hesitation at low end so they performed an "inspection" at an additional $140. They advised this was due in part to a sticking throttle body which I was advised needed replacing at $600+. (after bringing the car home and cleaning out the throttle body. The car runs fine.} They never inspected the throttle body. 2. Upon picking up my truck, there was now a large crack running down the windshield. Service advisor said this was likely due to the dealership putting cold water on the windshield when they washed the car after service. Said they would fix it and said he would call me by Tuesday to advise on repair. 3. Called Friday as I had not heard from them. Said they would put in a used windshield. Said this will not do as my windshield is in perfect condition and I am not taking anything that is not in perfect condition, cannot be guaranteed, and has come from a wrecked vehicle. This also goes against Ford replacement standards. 4. Said to bring car down for the service manager to inspect. Went today and service manager left slightly early. (Side note: As another service person, Sean was insulting another customer saying they don't make the vehicles, Ford does, therefore they are not responsible, I chimed in telling him that was ludicrous and he informed me I am not part of the conversation. Seems to fit in with the general culture there. 5. Was directed to another young lady who was nice enough, but again I informed her I would not be accepting anything less than a new windshield. Said she would have Mike the service manager call me. 6. NOTE: If they refuse to install a new OEM windshield by a reputable installer to factory specs, I will File suit immediately and post a link to a copy of it and the judgement here and at every other major review site. This in addition to letters to Ford and other local business organizations and consumer boards that could possibly affect their business. My business associates are on the Toluca Lake Chamber Board and we are affiliated with all of the local studios. Now My Opinion: As of now, I would highly recommend service or vehicle purchase at another dealership. To remain impartial I will not give names, but there are a couple of other good dealerships in other areas of the valley. Even if you have to pay a little more, go somehwere else. I have yet to speak with the service manager, but will update here after I do. This review will have a few chapters or updates. Against my better judgement I went here out of convenience. I usually go to another dealership that is outstanding. There are several negative reviews, and though maybe not well articulated, they seem to be accurate. They defintely have some bad element here and it is so void of basic customer service as to insult the intelligence of most people More
Don't waste your time. Maybe it's because I wanted a used car but who knows. So the online price for a 2007 Explorer with 45,000 miles was $15,994. Good price, certified so my fiance and I drove from LAX to c car but who knows. So the online price for a 2007 Explorer with 45,000 miles was $15,994. Good price, certified so my fiance and I drove from LAX to check it out. Rep who I spoke to on phone had left for the day so another nice man helped me. The car was filthy inside and out, broken head light, step guard broke, interior ragged, balding tires, change oil light on, candy rappers in car. So I was not interested and began to leave, rep asked if I would at least drive it so I had something to compare to if I found another. So I did and when I came back Chris (manager) said "take the car tonight I will drop the price 1000, and give me wanted I wanted for my trade" I said " let me sleep on it and if I decide to move forward have the car detailed and what not. I came back the next day and the whole deal changed, (car was not detailed they said steam cleaner broke)Chris went back on his word and they tried to screw me over. He said things like "if I could get a 1000 off I would, I never said I could". So the whole thing was to get me back and try to xxxx me. I have good credit and the best these idiots could do for a 15,994 car was 399.00 for 72 months. LMAO thats almost 30,000. I left fast and went to Parkway in Valencia. Found a cherry 2007 Explorer 14,994 45,000 miles full platinum warrant 60 months 349 a month. I like my new used car. More
I have been with this dealer for five trucks/cars and this is the last I will do with them....brand new car with computer problems 10 days later....didn't feel safe in the car and told them so....the ass this is the last I will do with them....brand new car with computer problems 10 days later....didn't feel safe in the car and told them so....the asst. sales manager couldn't have been ruder and it was 1 dozen phone calls later when the general manager finally got back to me...the salvation? a terrific finance manager taken the problem under his wing... its a different dealer for me next- and i am sure they will be happy to get rid of me- a five car buyer P.S. The service department by the way is terrific...its the front office you need to worry about. More
I purchase my 2010 Ford Raptor several months ago and my sirius radio subscribtion is about to end soon. I spoke to a representative from sirius and they told me i have 2 acct with them and i can not get an sirius radio subscribtion is about to end soon. I spoke to a representative from sirius and they told me i have 2 acct with them and i can not get any discounts. They told me the only person that can fix this is the sales manager. I went to the dealership and spoke to AJ. AJ was very rude, very sarcastic and was not willing to even look if im under warranty. He just brushed me off and talked to me very angry and aggressive. As I was leaving the dealer he was trying to get my attn after someone informed him i was some certain customer. AJ was already judging the way i dress and was brushing me off. I was soo pissed to the point where i just didnt want to deal with him anymore or the dealership n told him to f*** off for his behavior torward me and i do not beleve he should get another chance to fix it after being unprofessional manager. He didnt even try to resolve this issue by even looking into my acct. He was talking to me like he was going to attack me by saying "wsup son" and acting like he wanted to fight me. Which is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this dealership if AJ is still working here because in the end he will only kiss your xxx if you purchase the vehicle from there and give good reviews. After that they will just kick you in the curb not caring. AJ couldve handle this better by looking if i was under warranty and doing something about this situation for the mistake that there dealership made but in the end he was very unprofessional. More
I had such a positive experience with Sunrise Ford that I felt compelled to share it with other consumers. My husband and I had been shopping for a Ford Expedition in anticipation for the birth of our baby I felt compelled to share it with other consumers. My husband and I had been shopping for a Ford Expedition in anticipation for the birth of our baby. My husband and I visited a much larger dealership in Van Nuys, but were unimpressed with their willingness to assist us and especially with their unyielding position with respect to negotiating any aspect of the transaction. It was then that a neighbor suggested that we try Sunrise. By this time I was 8 months pregnant and not looking forward to spending half a day or more at a car dealership. From the moment we walked in, the experience was completely different. Every person we came into contact with was kind and helpful. Our salesman Jas Rooney was one of the best I've ever dealt with. He understood my inability to spend much time and worked fast and furiously to make sure we got the best deal, rate and term and we were out the door in record time (for me anyway!) Thank you to the staff, who also went out of their way to make sure my visit was as pleasant as possible. I'm a loyal customer, for life. Jamie Brockert More
This dealership got me to come in after a long discussion with the sales manager A.J. who then pawned me off to Al Tanner who seemed to know less about the car than a trained parrot. The deal took five times with the sales manager A.J. who then pawned me off to Al Tanner who seemed to know less about the car than a trained parrot. The deal took five times longer to complete than it should have and the finance person seemed unable to communicate with people by looking them in the eye. Finally, the follow through was disappointing to say the least. I could not recommend this dealership to a person whom I hated. Please go somewhere else. Let me awful experience be the straw that pushes you to another dealer! More
They roped me into coming onto the lot by quoting me a great price on a hybrid in an email exchange, swore up and down on the phone that they would "take care of me." When I got there, they wanted me to f great price on a hybrid in an email exchange, swore up and down on the phone that they would "take care of me." When I got there, they wanted me to fill out paperwork, which I didn't want to do until I got a confirmation of the price they had quoted me. The salesman went into the sales managers' room, came back and said that yes, they were offering me the price they had quoted me in the email. I filled out the paperwork, waited half-an-hour, and lo-and-behold, another manager came out and said there had been a mistake, the actual price was much higher. I argued with them for a few minutes, then left angrily. One of their other manager weasels came running after me, saying they wanted to make it up to me and maybe they could sell me something else. Wow, how generous of them. When it became clear that I wasn't going to fall for their "get them on the lot any way you can" xxxxxxx routine, this guy actually had the audacity to insult me for believing the original price they quoted me, that I should have clearly known it was a "mistake." He failed to explain why every other salesman and manager that I had dealt with on the lot, for at least an hour all seemed to think it was a reasonable price until they decided to "turn the tables" on me. This is truly a dishonest and disreputable place. They are pure pondscum -- avoid Sunrise Ford at all costs. More
bought a used Scion from these guys last year during a rainy spell (you remember it, if you live in LA). While I enjoyed the salesman a great deal it turned out he was just really good at what he did. I w rainy spell (you remember it, if you live in LA). While I enjoyed the salesman a great deal it turned out he was just really good at what he did. I was in a hurry to buy the car because my car had died...so we dealt on price, and that was fine. I was going to wait until the next day to take the car home, but he insisted I do the down payment, sign off and take it that night. Well the next day I saw why: it turns out their detailers had put massive swirl marks in the finish of the car. I put that one up to my inexperience in the arena of purchasing a car (first one I've bought from a dealer) and let it go. Next was I never received any paperwork from the dealership as my loan was being financed at a credit union out of town so papers had to be sent there and to me. I followed up several times (still, the only thing I have from Sunrise Ford is a receipt for my $1000 down payment) with no return phone call. Finally, I stopped in and the manager who had *HUGGED* me when I bought a car from them was really excited to see me...until he realized that I had been there a week ago and bought a car then he pawned me off to someone else. Needless to say I never got the paperwork. I also never got the replacement floor mats that they had promised me and god knows what else. The good news is I had a friend who was about to buy a ford focus from them, I stopped him and intend to do that as many times as I can. He happily bought a Civic from somewhere else. More
