I had the absolute best experience at Sunrise Ford! Better than any other dealership in the greater LA area. I come from a Ford family, and I have genuinely always loved Ford cars. I had shopped around at a few different places (including Tesla).. and wasn't able to find exactly what I needed AND wanted. I'm not quite ready to go electric, and at other dealerships, I found myself in a sea of agendas. When I came to Sunrise Ford, all of that changed. They dove in to helping me immediately. They made time to answer every single question I had, and showed me every vehicle I was curious about - it was above and beyond. When I told them the vehicles I was interested in, they took the time to tell me EVERYTHING, in depth. Matt Powers took me for a couple test drives in different vehicles I was interested in and was exceptionally knowledgeable. He took his time answering everything and did not push me AT ALL. He and Vern Miller were I N C R E D I B L Y resourceful in helping me LAND THE PLANE. In fact they were so good that it made me xxxx bent on purchasing from Sunrise Ford. Vern Miller was able to locate THE CAR I had been dreaming of for ages!!! I finally drove off in my new 2024 Mustang Convertible and have been LOVING it ever since!!!! If you need a new car......... I declined, only to be presented with another option an hour later, now $3,000 more. Despite six months of persistent calls to engage in business, they could have assessed their inventory before running my credit. More

After back and forth for months on include markups and reaffirming with them that I was not interested in their forced value packages, I continued to receive emails and phone calls for weeks until a sales rep called me and told me there was the exact truck I wanted and the markup was negotiable, and that I should make an appointment to come in the following day. I did just that, but when I got there I was told it would take 48 hours for the truck to arrive. They asked for a deposit so I gave them one, which wasn’t a small amount, they asked for half of what I was putting as a down payment. This dealer is a long drive away from where I live. Thats not their fault, but they insisted I come in and make the deposit, right? Zero communication after I left my money. I texted the next day, zero response. I called multiple times the following day, as they literally said 48 hours. I was told they’d call back in 10 when I finally got through. I waited another hour before calling back. Turns out they never actually had the truck, just had me wait until the deposit was posted. I can’t believe how frustrating this is. Why on earth did I have to leave a deposit if they couldn’t even guarantee what they lured me in with? What’s more frustrating is somehow, the only stock they can promise me is a trim higher than I want. I spent months telling them I didn’t want any of the luxury stuff, I just want a truck. I’m not sure who is to blame, everyone is quick to hand you off and transfer you with zero context when you try calling, but the whole experience car buying here was horrible. If you have the option to buy from another dealer, I strongly recommend you take that route. Very quick to take whatever money they can then take their time or ghost me after. More

[Service Department Review] I've been to Sunrise's Service department 5 times over the last several years, and I finally just can't do it anymore. I used to be a mechanic, I know how service departme Service department 5 times over the last several years, and I finally just can't do it anymore. I used to be a mechanic, I know how service departments should run, and this ain't it. I had the brakes on my 2010 Focus get really spongy, I made an appointment with them, and brought it in. They had it for 6 business days. Very little communication. I had to call them every time to find out what's going on with my car. Finally, they diagnosed as moisture in the brake fluid, recommended flush. I get it back and there's brake fluid all over the engine compartment. Rad, thanks guys. 1 month later, literally the exact same issue happened. Made another appointment. This time I told them I suspected it to be the hydraulic control unit bypassing fluid. I even printed out a diagram and made notes and gave it to them to show them what's happening. This time they had it for 9 business days. And they had it over Labor Day weekend so.... yeah not awesome. Still very little communication, day after day. I guess they're really busy. Good for them. So why did I make an appointment if you were just gonna park my car in your lot for 7 days and then finally get around to it. Just make the appointment 7 days later! Finally I get my car back, and the hood cowl is full of brake fluid this time. At least they're consistent I guess. I get in the car, and notice the side view mirror on the drivers side is pointed at the ground. I go to adjust it, and the side view mirror adjuster pops right off! I think I've adjusted that mirror once in 14 years of owning that car. I never touch it. Ever. The only other time anyone's been inside that door was when the same dealer fixed the door handle two years ago. So either it's been broken (by them) all this time, or it was broken this time. Either way, they broke it. Now to be fair, they offered to fix that as a "courtesy." Which, fine, I appreciate. But I would have preferred it not been broken in the first place. Or at least just own up to it when you break it. I know those plastic tabs are a pain. I won't judge anyone for breaking one. Just... you know.... fix it. I've owned a lot of Fords over the years and been to a lot of Ford service departments over the years, all over the country. And Sunrise, unfortunately, is the worst of them. They take forever, they're expensive, communication is poor, and they're work is sloppy. Go somewhere else with your Ford. Seriously. [UPDATE] They have not done the "courtesy fix" on my Sid view mirror adjuster like they said they would. It's been two weeks and not one word from them. I've called multiple times, and they're just ducking my calls now. Terrible Service department confirmed..... More
