When I called and wanted them to check out the car, they said they would not look at it until I had 7500 miles on it. Ignoring this I made an appointment to have my car checked out. Mike said I only had 3000 miles on it. After I insisted, he took the car for a drive around the block. He asked me if they had told me that it was a dual transmission, I said NO! He said that Ford Focus had a problem with that item and even after bringing it in and having it fixed it might be ok for about 2 months. I asked him if I bought a lemon and he said yes. He said they will not look at it until I have 7500 miles on it. Never openened the hood - did not do anything. I called Ford in Detroit and through them I finally got an appointment and had to leave my car for 9 hours. When I picked it up, they did not do a courtesy car wash, and they did not fix the problem, but they said that I needed my transmission fixed and yes there was a problem. I would have to make an appointment, since they were so busy and had no opening until Ocotber 22 I will need to leave the car for 4 to 5 days. I asked if they would give me a loaner and they said it was not in my contract. I hate Sunrise Ford North Hollywood. I called Ford Detroit and they will arrange for me to have a loaner while my transmission is being fixed. Be afraid, very afraid especially if you are a woman. More

BUYER BEWARE; Sunrise Ford adds on two up-sell items, Vehicle theft protection (a keypad w kill switch) $595.00 and Protection Plus (some secret thing in the door) $395.00 so about 1000 bucks. I ask tha Vehicle theft protection (a keypad w kill switch) $595.00 and Protection Plus (some secret thing in the door) $395.00 so about 1000 bucks. I ask that these be removed prior to buying the car...but the charges were in the sales contract, after I realized this, I went back to Sunrise Ford and ask that they be removed, spoke with AJ Johnson GM and he told to "too bad" you signed the contract. Shady way to make an extra 1000 dollars. Bought a C-Max love the car, just don't buy from this dealership. More

Had us drive all the way from Anaheim telling me with my credit and down payment "It was a car deal all day". When I got there was another story after driving three cars. I'm so annoyed and pissed off I don't even feel like typing this review. I've been waiting on a call back from them since 1PM today... its now 7:18PM and still haven't called to tell me the payments on the 2012 Mini they have. You pass a lot of good dealerships on the way here... stop there... you will be happy you did. Alex and Ronald!!! More
Ill keep this short. Basically I bought a new Fiesta, Ill keep this short. Basically I bought a new Fiesta, happy with the car but had such a terrible experience with my salesman, Yuri, that I actually w Ill keep this short. Basically I bought a new Fiesta, happy with the car but had such a terrible experience with my salesman, Yuri, that I actually went out of my way to complain to a manager about his behavior and sales tactics. When I did this, I was basically told to its his job to treat me like crap and to leave. It was very rude, needless to say, and not focused on me, the customer who just gave them a 4000 dollar down payment. I got upset and, honesty, I yelled at the guy and told them what terrible customer service they have. The next day the GM, A.J. Called me personally to let me know that I was no longer welcome at the dealership and that any service I needed would need to be done elsewhere. Again, all I did was try to complain about the poor customer service. In return, I was abused and told I was persona non grata. These are terrible people. I can not recommend strongly enough that you go literally anywhere else. More
I ordered a new car from them using "True Car Guaranteed Pricing". Eight weeks later they call me and tell me my car is in. I went to pick it up and the True car pricing was higher than the email Guaranteed Pricing". Eight weeks later they call me and tell me my car is in. I went to pick it up and the True car pricing was higher than the email they had sent me when I ordered the car and they had added an alarm and some security stickers to the car which added another $990 to the price. I asked them to remove the alarm and stickers and they said they would have to charge me to remove them. We settled on a price about $750 more than we had agreed to when I ordered the car and I had to remove the alarm myself. I wanted to walk but I had already sold my old car and had waited eight weeks for the car that I wanted. Beware of "bait and switch" and "dealer fluff" add ons. Do not accept their word, get everything in writing. More
My family has just purchased another Ford (we buy american only). In both purchases, Sunrise Ford and their staff have been very helpful, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I see a lot of bad revi american only). In both purchases, Sunrise Ford and their staff have been very helpful, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I see a lot of bad reviews on here, but none of them have complete details with regards to actual problems, and also seem to lack some understanding. Being in NoHo, Sunrise doesn't have a very good location. They have a huge selection, and have a full service shop in the back. Buying a car should be fun, and I always feel like AJ and his staff really make it fun for the buyer and their family. More
I am a bit frustrated by what I believe to have been deceptive business practices, but after much thought have decided to try and work with the people at the dealership to work through it....we'll see.. deceptive business practices, but after much thought have decided to try and work with the people at the dealership to work through it....we'll see.... I wanted the base package, but the extremely pushy salesman convinced me to get the sport package because of the "awesome features." Without my asking, he snuck out to another location to get me the car of my dreams (ha). Then he told me there was no other car in the area like the one I was asking for. Since my wife and I had been there over 5 hours by that point, I said fine and took the car. In just over 4 months, I have had to bring it in for repair FIVE times, four of which were for the same issue. Then another time for a meeting with their customer service manager. In total, that makes five trips there to drop the car off, five trips back to pick it up. Every time I left, the issue was either not fixed or, even better, it was fixed but something ELSE was broken! I had to take time off work, work late to make up hours, skip lunches, beg rides from friends, etc. A major hassle just to get something I'm already paying for. Fine. All cars have bugs. I get that. But each time I brought it in, I was told by the "experts" there that I was wrong, everything was fine, it was in my head, there's nothing we can do about that (one of them, John, even yelled at me when I asked him to listen and stop just telling me what ISN'T wrong with the car - he's a real peach). It took a special meeting with the customer service manager (who is great, Sally Press is her name) and my demands to see the foreman to finally be heard. After 3 minutes with him, he confirmed there was indeed a huge problem. They gave me a rental and a few days later, it was fixed... but the window is now malfunctioning. I swear, I feel like they're just screwing with me on purpose or something. And each time they work on your car, you're given a survey and told that if you don't give them top scores in every area, they'll get in trouble and face disciplinary action. Even my Italian grandmother couldn't guilt trip like that. When I expressed my concerns to the sales manager (Ron St. John, I feel like I should mention you by name) I was offered 3 full tanks of gas to make up for the inconvenience. Fine, sounds good. However, to get those fillups, I would have to stop by, find him, and ask for a voucher. Then I could go to a nearby station and get the gas. So I had to stop by, hope he's working, wait for him to finish whatever he's doing, then ask him if I can please have my voucher like I'm asking for a hall pass to use the bathroom. That... wasn't gonna work for me. Luckily Sally stepped in at that point and gave me 3 free details and fillups, to which Mr. St. John rolled his eyes and said, "Fine. We'll have someone else take your car to the gas station for you." That's right, Mr. St. John. That's exactly what you'll do. In short (little late for that I guess), avoid this place like the plague. The car dealer stereotypes of sleazy, pushy salesmen, liars, incompetence, laziness, and just overall contempt for the buyer are all alive and well at Sunrise Ford. Do yourself a favor and strap a few flashlights to a shopping cart instead. At least when that malfunctions, you won't feel so bad about shelling out hundreds of dollars every month for it. Ugh. I can't wait for this lease to run its course so I can shove this car right back up their tailpipes. ps - I should also mention that after trip number 3, I asked the repair technician (the peach) why, if they are constantly having these issues with the cars as I kept hearing from him, don't they inform the customer of these issues at the time of purchase? He told me, "Well if they'd told you that at the beginning, you'd have gone and gotten a Toyota instead!" Ah, the joys of honest dishonesty. More
