***DONT TRUST THIS DEALER***Purchased a 2018 Toyota ***DONT TRUST THIS DEALER*** Purchased a 2018 Toyota Tacoma from this dealer with 22,000 miles on it. Took the truck on a test drive and the salesm ***DONT TRUST THIS DEALER*** Purchased a 2018 Toyota Tacoma from this dealer with 22,000 miles on it. Took the truck on a test drive and the salesman which was Kevin Caponera told me the truck was in top condition and nothing wrong with it. The truck looked absolutely spotless and so i thought i had nothing to worry about. I sat down and worked a deal which was also like pulling teeth with these guys. Upon agreeing on a deal i went and signed my closing documents and decided to add extended warrantee for an additional $2,500 in which i asked if it covered everything on the truck and the finance manager told me it did (at that time he also didnt mention that the truck had previous accident history). I came to find out a couple months later through a friend at Toyota of San Bernardino that the truck was actually in 2 separate accidents which caused moderate damage. The "Family" at Sunrise Ford didnt tell me a single thing about either accident and after looking at my warrantee paperwork i also found out it only covers powertrain and not bumper to bumper. They lied to me about multiple things in regards to the truck and my closing paperwork. The finance manager even told me when signing the paperwork that its basic info and not to worry because most people breeze right through it. I would have never bought the truck knowing that it was in a singe accident. I called them when i found out about everything and wasnt called back a few times when i was told i would be. Then, the salesman (Kevin Caponera) called me and i explained the situation in which time he became frustrated and rude and then hung up the phone on me. My experience with this dealer after purchasing the truck was awful and nobody wanted to help me and instead i was left to feel helpless and taken advantage of. I spoke to multiple people and they decided to be short with me and have bad attitudes as if they were the ones that were dealt a bad deal. Before the deal was struck everyone was all smiles and after i came to them with my concerns nobody wanted to hear from me and blew me off and told me there was nothing they could do. This dealer is ruthless as well as the salesman which was shady to say the least. I would never recommend my friends or family to buy a car here. I am currently looking into legal action and will also be blasting this all over social media and alternate rating sites so anyone else can avoid this happening to them You work hard for you money so dont let these people take advantage of you and your time. More

Lemon!!!- When I went to sunrise Ford to buy my suv, I was guaranteed that there were no issues with the hybrid battery. I specifically asked and said I would not buy it unless I was guaranteed and if the was guaranteed that there were no issues with the hybrid battery. I specifically asked and said I would not buy it unless I was guaranteed and if there were issues they would fix it. They agreed, I have 3 witnesses. I bought the Ford Escape hybrid to replace another hybrid with a failed hybrid battery. In less than 1 year, the hybrid vehicle I bought from sunrise ford would no longer hold a charge. I brought it to several mechanics who told me that sunrise ford actually falsified the carfax report and did not update the systems they had claimed to, as well as the fact I needed to replace the hybrid battery. Both my co-signer and I called ford sunrise to explain the issue and ask for them to keep their oral agreement with guaranteed they would maintain liability for any hybrid battery issues. I also sent emails to the CEOs. The company has shown bad faith by engaging in stonewalling, the CEOs would not reply and the managers refused to help in any way. Ford Sunrise has established a pattern of bad faith, this being the third incident with the car in less than 1 year. I’m a single mom, they were well aware I drive my child in this car but still sold it to me knowing it was experiencing issues and displaying “the red triangle of death” as it’s known since this known recall issues has caused cars to stalk while on the freeway and kill people. This has been the uppermost worst customer experience of my life and I will continue to exercise my freedom of speech and let others know. I have filed a complaint with corporate, called the BBB and will be calling the attorney general about the illegal business procedures. Legally, this does constitute a breach of contract on multiple accounts including warranty and merchantability. The contract is also void due to sunrise ford withholding the material fact. Oh, and this has cost me an additional $5k this year. Do not buy from here, buyer beware. More
