I gave them the following ratings due to them being very professional and willing to work with me right out of college. So, they helped me by calling so many banks in order for me to get my first car. All t professional and willing to work with me right out of college. So, they helped me by calling so many banks in order for me to get my first car. All the other dealers I went to did not get me approved. The employees at Sunrise are very nice people that not only treat you as customers but they treat you and each other like family. I would definitely suggest them to others for their excellence and beautiful dealership. More
I was very pleased with my recent purchase of a 2012 Chevy Avalanche. My sales person, Javier, and the sales manager, Dan, were informative and located the exact vehicle that I was interested in at ano Chevy Avalanche. My sales person, Javier, and the sales manager, Dan, were informative and located the exact vehicle that I was interested in at another dealer. It was delivered in two days and we agreed to a fair deal quickly. I was pleased because they were not pushy and treated my family with respect and accommodated us without any pressure. I would recommend Sunrise Chevrolet to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. More
First off, I have to say I went here for sales and service. The sales portion was wonderful. I had been shopping all over for about 2 months for a decently priced used car, and was treated terribly ev service. The sales portion was wonderful. I had been shopping all over for about 2 months for a decently priced used car, and was treated terribly everywhere else. The dealer I worked with was great in explaining every car, and he and the finance manager treated me no different when I decided to go with a non GMC car they had as a trade in. ON THE OTHER HAND...There was an agreement to get some issues on the car fixed (paint chips, mirror, tire pressure sensors, etc) that were there from the previous owner. The dealership agreed (signed contract) to fix these issue for free. So when I did bring my car in for the service appointment a few days later, I was treated so terribly. The service department "lost" their copy of that contract, and wouldn't honor my copy since they didn't have theirs. I threw a fit and they ended up fixing the paint and mirror for free, once the dealership manager intervened. During the whole process, the service manager was yelling and saying some extremely rude things to me. Customer service is a MUST. I later went back to talk to the dealership manager again to report the service manager (while still complimenting the sales department) and nothing came of it. I was disappointed that the service manager wasn't reprimanded for his attitude. At other places, if an employee talked to a customer like that, he would most likely be fired. Please choose to go somewhere else for your service. Don't even waste your time trying. More
I originly brought my car here for service/repair and the customer service was great! Very warm and friendly staff. The people seemed knowledgeable and willing to explain anything I had questions on. When I customer service was great! Very warm and friendly staff. The people seemed knowledgeable and willing to explain anything I had questions on. When I went to the show department just to kill time I was approached immediately by one of there staff who showed me some of his favorite top of the line vehicles. Im sure I'll be back whether it's for service or a new car in the future! More
Classic car dealer mentality: Make snide comments when a customer tries to double-check your math on a final price (even though you did "accidentally" add in a fee twice); Send over a fast-talking, hard-sel customer tries to double-check your math on a final price (even though you did "accidentally" add in a fee twice); Send over a fast-talking, hard-sell manager to try and intimidate when a deal isn't closing fast enough; continue to play price games with the customer the next day until you force them to buy the car from someone else. When you go shopping for a new vehicle STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I had dropped off my mother's car for a basic oil change (that was all that was need according to the owner's manual). While I was waiti THIS PLACE! I had dropped off my mother's car for a basic oil change (that was all that was need according to the owner's manual). While I was waiting for the prognosis, I decided to look around since I was in the market for a new vehicle. I wondered around the lot for 39 minutes. NO ONE EVEN CAME AND ASKED ME IF I NEEDED ANY HELP. I then found an employee outside smoking. So i decided to go in his general vacinity to see if he wanted to help me. When I got too close HE WAIVED ME OFF! I realized he was a manager when a page came over the loud speaker, "Sales Manager call holding...", and his reply to his "phone mate" was, "I got to go, another fu*&ing phone call!". I figured no biggie, then I went back to service to pick up my mother's car, they told me I should have $1,836 in work done to make it "safe" for my mother. I declined, and drove it an hour to my mechanic, and he told me everything was fine and safe for $0. Please do yourself a favor, and AVOID THIS DEALER. If my mother would have went without me, she would have been $1,800 poorer...BUYER BEWARE!!! More
This dealership's service department is one to avoid - these guys use every trick in the book to sell services that aren't even needed. I've taken my car there a couple of times for routine warranty work these guys use every trick in the book to sell services that aren't even needed. I've taken my car there a couple of times for routine warranty work only because they are close to where I live. Each and every time I go there, they attempt to sell additional services that are not even required (i.e fuel injector service at 20,000 miles - NOT in the service manual, so why are they recommending it)? Kept the car for 100k miles and it never received nor needed that service, ran just fine when trading in. So be careful if you go here for service - they will take advantage of you big time. More
I took my 2001 Cavalier 2.4 in when it began making lifter noise. The svc mgr and a mechanic helped look over the problem. The mechanic touched the top of the engine aqnd revved the throttle. Then h lifter noise. The svc mgr and a mechanic helped look over the problem. The mechanic touched the top of the engine aqnd revved the throttle. Then he said, "yes, it's a "rod", probably #1 or #2. The service mgr concurred and guessed that it was time to get a new engine. Two thousand or so. Only one problem: As I left, I pondered, does a DOHC engine HAVE "RODS"? I told this story to the people at the local auto parts store, and they had a good laugh. Then I told them, the same thing happened (RE: cam/lifters) 15 years ago, at the same place -- when it was sporting a different name. I caught them then and had to sign a waiver to get my car back, because I threatened to sue. The name may change, but a rat is still a rat! More
