Was looking for anything, what I drove home blew my mind! My family suffered a major car emergency, losing both cars to serious breakdowns within a month of each other. Chase Raymond from Sunnyside Chevy was My family suffered a major car emergency, losing both cars to serious breakdowns within a month of each other. Chase Raymond from Sunnyside Chevy was the first person I saw, as it was the only dealership within walking distance from my house. I told him my dilemma, no working vehicles, not a lot of money to put down, basically I was desperate with very low expectations. Mr. Raymond did some digging to find the best car for my situation and what he found blew my mind. A used 2013 Ford Focus with 40k miles and in amazing shape. It was so clean it could of passed as brand new model! Immediately we applied/and were approved for financing, and I was well on my way to owning that car. The amazing thing was Mr. Raymond and the gentlemen/women at Sunnyside actually let me have the car for the weekend so my family could actually have a car without relying on friends and family for transportation. The level of respect, curtacy and service my wife and I received from Sunnyside was above and beyond! I will highly recommend them to all my friends and extended family, and will be doing more business with them in the future! Jacob Solanics and Chase Raymond took me for a test drive in an Equinox on Monday and I fell in love with it. Next came the difficult part: my financing. Jacob understood that, due to the impending birth of my first child this coming January, I needed a good, safe car but that I also had a budget, and over the next few days he worked with my credit to find me approval and make sure I wasn’t stuck with a crazy high payment. He was very patient throughout the whole process and searched for cars that fit into what I needed. We texted back and forth a lot, as I had to decide what features I could and could not live without, and answered endless questions from me about every little thing. After two vehicles I liked ended up sold, he found the one that is now sitting all pretty in my garage. He told me about this Equinox and I immediately jumped on it! I was able to come to the dealership that same night and leave with my car a short while later. I had been dreading going through getting a new car, but really it was so painless. Jacob made it so easy and stress-free, and that is just what I needed. I am thrilled with my choice of vehicle and thrilled with the service I received. More

Jacob the Car Man is Not Smarmy I have a strong aversion to car salespeople after a few bad/weird experiences. It’s as if every negative car salesperson stereotype was distilled into I have a strong aversion to car salespeople after a few bad/weird experiences. It’s as if every negative car salesperson stereotype was distilled into every person we’ve ever bought a car from. After the smarmy salespeople, the worst part is the waiting around. They do a lot of making you wait around, even when you go in there and pretty much say "this is the car I want, take my money and let me leave, please." Then, for years afterwards, they spam your email and you deeply regret your life choices involving that car dealership. Therefore, I was dreading the inevitability of buying a car for my daughter, and kept putting it off. Luckily, my neighbor suggested we go speak with Jacob. Jacob is very polite and patient. He seemed to understand we aren’t Car People so didn’t bog us down with information non-Car People don’t really want to know. He explained the car features, taking his time to explain things more than once if needed. From the beginning he knew the car would be for our 16 year old daughter. She is about the size of an 11 year old so it’s very common for people to speak down to her or not properly listen to what she has to say or ask. Jacob didn’t do this. He spoke to her the same way he spoke to my husband, as the car owner. When she spoke to him or asked him questions, he took the time to truly listen to her properly. Jacob didn't make us wait around unnecessarily either. When Jacob didn’t know something, he said he didn’t know instead of blagging his way through. He was honest about little things, when the answer wouldn’t have changed our minds about buying the car. He made sure all of the things he told us would be done with the car were done. He helped arrange times for us to drop the car off to get some sort of thing done to the seats and paint. When we went to pick up the car from this service Jacob asked after our daughter, to find out if she had a chance to drive her car and wanted to know how she liked it. So far we are happy with our purchase. The only negative thing is that Chevy, Sirus, OnStar, and Sunnyside are already showing signs of emailing me far too often, so I have my regrets where giving out my email address is concerned. Jacob is not to blame, it was my own poor choices. More
