I have purchased 8 new vehicles within the past 15 years and consider myself a tough, knowledgeable consumer. I am extremely familiar with the new car buying experience and simply loathe the process right up to the part of driving away in my newly purchased car. With the economic uncertainties, I was anticipating this vehicle purchase experience to be the worst. I was expecting a feeding frenzy of sharks. Obnoxious, pushy and hungry for the sale. My sales experience with Derek and the staff at Sunnyside Acura were nothing of the sort. Derek was prompt, professional, and friendly. Most of all he had a genuine sense of humor and made this vehicle purchase experience fun and pleasant overall. Or was it the green tea? I can only hope my future experience with the service department proves to be the same. The following are some tips of advice not due in part to my experience with Sunnyside but with my overall car buying experience. 1) Do your research first. 2) Never let the Sales Rep try and tell you what route to take during the test drive. Take control, your the one with the purchasing power. 3) Don't let the Rep talk your ear off and get preoccupied with how great the audio system sounds. Remember, your buying a car and not a stereo system. You can always listen to the audio system back at the dealership. Turn the radio off and politely instruct the Rep to quietly enjoy the ride unless you have questions. Listen to the car. 4) Ask "What's the bottom price?" and negotiate from there. Don't let them ask you what your willing to pay per month without knowing what's their bottom line. If you did your research you already know what your gonna pay per month. More

I am a car enthusiast, by even the most stringent criteria. However, I do virtually all of my "shopping" online. When I arrive at a dealership, I know what l want to see and drive. I am just looking to bounce ideas off intelligent sales and management personnel and then talk price. During a three-month search, no dealership was more helpful and professional than Sunnyside Acura of Nashua, NH. It helps when yo are selling a automobile like the MDX, but they never rested on that fact alone. They worked with me. They helped confirm my suspicion that the MDX represents one of the highest value new car purchases on the planet. I bought, in one day, a fully loaded MDX with Sport and Entertainment packages, and virtually ALL possible accessories. It was VERY expensive, but they still accepted a fair offer for the beauty that I eventually drove away!! We both won. We truly did, and that is all I could ever ask! I feel as if I have formed friendships with the people who will service my new vehicle, and who will sell me additional cars in the future. Nadi, Derek, and all the professionals at Sunnyside Acura are to be trusted and commended. Thank you very much, guys! I appreciate all you have done for me!! More
My Husband and I went car shopping on Saturday Nov 22 and came home with a really bad taste. We went to 2 dealerships (both American), one of them never came and talked to us and the other told us it would came home with a really bad taste. We went to 2 dealerships (both American), one of them never came and talked to us and the other told us it would cost more to pay cash because we would lose our rebate. That night I decided I would just keep my car. On Sunday I found just what I was looking for at Sunnyside Acura. We got out of our car and I said whose going to sell me a car today. Ed came right out to us even though it was freezing out. He let us test drive 2 different vehicles one of which we pick up on Monday Nov 24. The Manager Nadi and Ed could not have been more informative, courteous and professional. We are already planning on buying another car from them within 2-3 years. I would recommend this dealership to all my family and friends. We are very happy with our car and the way we were treated. Can't say enough good things about the people at this dealership. I previously owned an Acura and went to an Infinti and now am very happy to be back in an Acura. Derek and the whole Sunnyside Acura team were incredibly helpful when I purchased my car. I looked at many cars, and when I called Derek to say that I would be in the following day to hopefully make a deal helpful when I purchased my car. I so appreciated this! I found Derek and the managers flexible in the pricing and willing to work with me to make the purchase within my limited budget.
