About 10 years ago, we leased two Acuras from Sunnyside and had a very postive experience. Recently, we visited the dealership to test drive the new 2009 TL and a 2009 RDX. We were greeted warmly and pro and had a very postive experience. Recently, we visited the dealership to test drive the new 2009 TL and a 2009 RDX. We were greeted warmly and professionally by Ed Piacenza who has been with the dealership for some time. Our visit there was handled efficiently so that we were able to test drive two vehicles and get lease costs within about an hour. We visited a day later to finalize an agreement and had our new TL that afternoon. Ed guided us throughout the process and made it entirely painless. We always were made to feel that our time was important and they worked hard to assure that there were no delays. Ed introduced us to others in the sales and service departments- everyone was friendly and offered help. If you are looking for a new Acura, I recommend this dealership- and especially Ed- without reservation. More
My husband bought his TL from Sunnyside in December 2007 and we had such a great experience with Ed Piacenza. His friendly, caring customer service drew us back for round two. We had been doing research on SUV's in the same class but ultimately knew that the MDX was for us, especially after dealing with the run of the mill high-pressure salesmen at other dealers. Sunnyside Acura has an anti-pressure approach when selling vehicles. Ed and Nadi Malik, the general manager went above and beyond to get the car we wanted at the price that we were comfortable with. Ed is a very professional salesman with years of experience who knows how to do his job with excellence. We will be going back to Sunnyside (and hopefully to Ed) for years to come, when we are in need of a new car! More
Went in and in one day, (granted it was 5 hours) picked up a new TL from Sunnyside and David Ortiz. Now what I can respect the most here, being in sales myself, is that David was on his way out the door t up a new TL from Sunnyside and David Ortiz. Now what I can respect the most here, being in sales myself, is that David was on his way out the door to lunch, it was his break, and he offered his assistance after a few other sales guys just casually glanced at me, expecting me to initiate conversation/interest. I would recommend this dealership, because once you have shown interest in a purchase, they are all extremely friendly... But I will say this, if you can go in and ask for someone, ask for David, then again, you probably wouldn't have to even ask for him, he will come to you and offer his assistance. I thoroughly enjoy my new TL as well... More

I recently went into Sunnyside Acura to purchase an MDX. He was very knowledgable about the car we were looking at, and took the time to answer all of our questions. Even after the purchase of the car he continued to keep the communication open to ensure that we were happy with our purchase and that all issues we may have had were solved. I would definately recommend Sunnyside Acura and Derek to anyone wishing to purchase a car. More
I was interested in the 2009 TSX and went to Sunnyside per the suggestion of my father, who had recently purchased from them a 2009 TL. I have to say that the overall experience was unbeatable. I was most impressed by how friendly and considerate he was, and how he made the overall experience (which could have been potentially very stressful!) quite pleasant. Derek was very knowledgeable about the TSX, and took the time to go through the car's various features during the test drive as well as upon pickup. He thoroughly answered any questions I had throughout the process, and was even so kind as to provide his cell phone number and take 8pm calls from me during the week, when I had more questions! I also found it nice that prior to making my decision to purchase the car, Derek took the time to contact me via phone to touch base and offer his assistance if needed. Derek was extremely professional and confident and in turn, made me feel confident about going forward with purchasing the car. I am quite happy with my TSX and would without a doubt recommend Sunnyside/its team to others! More
My husband and I were out browsing at dealerships on Presidents Day Weekend, and just happened to stop by Sunnyside Acura to look at their new 2009 TSX models. We went into the showroom looking for more information and met with Joe Casey. We couldn't have asked for a friendlier salesperson. He wasn't at all pushy , and actually, was quite low key which we both liked alot. He took us out on a test drive, and then let us drive another one by ourselves. He was very knowledgeable about the car, and we liked the fact that he drove a TSX, too. We loved the car. Once we decided that this was the car I wanted to purchase, Joe got the negotiation process going. I have to say it went fairly well--no special deals, but overall, we were pleased with the process, and I got to drive the car home that night!! Everyone we met there was very professional and friendly. We especially liked Joe Casey, and his mannerism/professionalism in doing business. And of course, I LOVE MY NEW TSX!!! More
I stopped by Sunnyside Acura 4 o 5 months ago, and first met Hillman Kwong, Sales Associate. I felt comfortable dealing with him. Test drove TL. On President's Day as we were narrowing our choices to few make & model, we decided to call Hillman. He was very inviting. He was low key, honest, prompt, polite and exercised lot of patience while we were trying to make the decision. He kept his distance by allowing us to have space to think through our decision, and other times only gave opinion when asked. The poor guy stood for 2 hours in the cold as my wife and daughter were debating on color of the car. Never once pushed us to finallize. Nadi Malek, Sales Manager was joy to work with. Besides, exercising his usual Sales Manager tools to talk us in to closing the deal, when time came, he fully engaged himself in understanding my personality and never made me feel ‘less’ for pushing the deal to hard with him. Very rear to find now a days! In past, when buying a car, I had walked out on many of these Sales Managers, just because of their body language and choice of words during the negotiations. I have simple rule, if you want my money, respect me first. Nadi Malek gave me that respect and space. He negotiated hard but, continue to build relationship during the entire process. I could have pushed him even harder, but at that point relationship came first, and I closed the deal. Along with Hillman, many of Sales team members stayed late (9:30 PM) to finish my paperwork without any complaints. Kudos to all. I love my Acura RL. Great vehicle. More
We stopped by not thinking about that we should buy one. But the sales guy is very friendly and knowledgalbe. I think he knew what we were looking for. We also took a look of the service center and thought it should be very good too. And because it was President Day. The promotion and Honda finace option are really attractive. And the safety feature is non beatable to us. The only thing we don't like is the pricing. Because it's a new model, new features have been added, the price is relative high. We know we may wait till the year end sale. But we bought it anyway. It was a great but expensive experience to us. More

I obviously did my search and got a few quotes from other dealers but both of us wanted to buy it from these guys because they were the friendliest. I started to negotiate with Nadi and it was actually fun to talk to him. I would recommend him highly for just the way he treats you, irrespective of if you buy it from him or not. We did eventually buy a 2009 MDX from them. After the delivery, Derek spent some time with us explaining the car and its features to us. All in all a very enjoyable experience - no pressure and friendly folks. More
