I was put in charge of purchasing a car for my husband. After much research, we decided on the Acura MDX for the reliability and overall excellent ratings. I did a few hours of online research, knew exactly what I wanted (year, package, color, interior, etc) and proceeded to call four different Acura dealerships in my area. While some were helpful and some were not at all, Kayhan was the most helpful and appreciated my straightforward style of getting what I wanted. He never played the old, "after you speak with your husband" routine with me. While Sunnyside was the third furthest of the four dealerships I contacted, the fact that I traveled more than an hour to this dealership should absolutely speak to the level of service and positive experience I encountered dealing with Kayhan. He spent an hour or more just going over all the bells and whistles in the car and really caring that I understood all that the car had to offer. Even though he knew I had already decided on my own that this was the car, he really cared that I knew how it all worked. I was pretty persistent wanting to get the most for my money and he respected that and found the balance for both of us. My only criticism of the overall experience, which does not reflect how I feel about the experience with Kayhan, is that it still had some of the old typical car dealer experiences. The manager had to be consulted numerous times about tweaks to the deal, he also came over to explain the pricing to me. Those two experiences can be view as a little condescending to an educated consumer as well as taking any of the ownership/power of the deal from the salesperson. Seems silly at times to deal with someone for such a long period of time then have their credibility undermined by the showroom manager. I'm sure there is a better way to give the salesperson the incentive to retain the best price for the dealer without having the back and forth silliness. I also think the "additional" expenses should be explained before the price is finalized. Overall, I would always recommend Kayhan Yegenoglu and have as a salesperson/dealer. He is a professional, intelligent, personable gentleman. I had a great overall experience at Sunnyside with Kayhan and would definitely go back. More
Buying a new car is always exciting, but the process is never fun for us; negotiating is usually a lot of play-acting by both parties and it makes our skin crawl. Until our most recent purchase last weekend of a 2011 MDX. We purchased our 2005 MDX from another dealer but brought it to Sunnyside for a transmission software update. As our current MDX had 98,000 miles on it, we decided to take a look at the new ones, as well as the RDX. As we perused, Kayhan asked if we were interested in a new car and the rest was history. Never before have we interacted with a car salesman with more interest, warmth, humor, and car knowledge. He spent an incredibly long time with us (about 3 1/2 hours!) while we test drove both cars and discussed the pros and cons of each. He knew both vehicles inside and out, which we would expect, but his sense of humor, decency, and respectfulness won us over to the MDX and the dealership as a whole. Unfortunately, we still had to deal with a bit of the skin-crawling part of the purchase in the negotiating of the price and trade-in with someone else, but that wasn't Kayhan's fault. When I picked up the car a couple of days later it was sparkling clean with a full tank of gas. Kayhan again spent almost two hours with me explaining all the bells and whistles, again with charm and humor, and sent me on my way, very happy with the experience. Another call 24 hours later by Kayhan assured him that I was more than pleased with the car and his assistance. Two big thumbs up!!! More
I was looking for a used MDX because I read the reviews on thems and the ratings speak for themselves. Acura has great products. When I walked in, I was approached by Wally. He was dressed in a fancy suit and I thought OMG, there is no way I will be able to afford a car from here, used or new....In my mind, seeing gentlemen in suits, makes me a bit nervous. So, I told Wally what I was looking for and thought that he wouldnt be interested in selling me a used car. I thought he would want to sell me a new one....again thinking, so he can make big bucks....Well I was pleasantly surprised that all he was interested in was getting me a car that works best for me. He was not pushy or sales like at all. I really felt comfortable dealing with him - if I asked a question that he didn't have the answer to, he didn't try to bluff his way through it. He was honest and told me that he didn't know the answer and would get it for me. So, when he said he was going to do something, not matter what it was, he followed through and took care my needs. He has a lot of knowledge regarding the acura products. He has taken alot of his time helping me with all the new bells and whistles in my car. He is still helping me after the sale. My overall experience with Sunnyside Acura has been great. They are a classy dealership that appreciates their customers. It is refreshing to see customer service. I look forward to working with them for many years to come:) More
We attribute our excellent experience at Sunnyside Acura completely to our sales person Kayhan. He was very kind and efficient in his description of the cars features during our test drive with him. We never felt like we were being pushed into anything. He would give us information and allow us to ask questions and when we went back a week later, he remembered details of conversations which meant he really listened & cared about us not just as customers but as people. We bought the MDX with Tech pkg and it required a lot of teaching when we picked up our car. Kayhan carefully and thoroughly went thru the car with us and helped us learn all of the features so we could get the very most out of our vehicle. But in addition to that, he went beyond and said that we should go home, use the car and write down questions. He encouraged us to call with questions and return with the car for further instruction in a week, 2 weeks, or a month, whenever it was best for us. So he wasn't just trying to sell us a car and push us out the door. He was genuinely concerned that we have a great experience with the car and he expected to be in contact with us after we left the sales department. .We've never experienced that before. AS we all know how buying a car can be very stressful, this was the best experience in all the years we've been purchasing automobiles! We would like to publicly thank Kayhan for making it such a pleasurable experience. And NO he's not related to us! More

My husband and I went to Sunnyside Acura Sunday afternoon to "just look" at the TL sedan. Wally was very helpful and kind answering our questions and then recommended the TSX. We did go to another dealership and then went back test drive the TSX. A little more than 24 hours later, I purchased my TSX Tech Package. Wally sat with us and explained the features of the car and called me this morning to make sure everything was going well. I love the car and highly recommend Wally and Sunnyside Acura. More

I live in the State of Michigan and I saw an add for a 2009 Acura TL SH AWD on Auto Trader. Kayhan was MOST helpful in answering all of my questions. Due to me being a 13 hour car drive away, it was most important that he was VERY descriptive when explaining to me the condition of the car that I wanted to purchase. I'm VERY Picky! Kayhan went above and beyond taking more detailed pictures and even making a video of the car and posting it onto a "You-Tube Link" so I can see the car more up close and personal. His on the phone communication skills and use of e-mail and writing was most instrumental in my overall decision to buy the car. Due to his dilligence I decided to book a one-way ticket to New Hampshire to go purchase the car in person. Kayhan picked me up from the local airport and drove me back to the dealership (20 minutes away) in a 2011 Acura TL SH AWD explaining all of the various options and facets of the car that I was purchasing. Upon arrival at Sunnyside Acura, my car had been detailed and parked right in front. The car looked "Brand New" and was actually better then what I was expecting for a car that was 2 years old. Kayhan's description was "right on"! There were NO surprises and NO dissapointments. Everything he explained over the phone was dead accurate. Even the finance details were right on with NO hidden charges and Acura Sunnyside got me a fantastic interest rate - better then my local Credit Union! Tried to buy a new car from this dealership. What a nightmare experience that was. Phone calls were not returned on time and when it was returned he hungup on me half way thru the conversation as he ha nightmare experience that was. Finally when I figured the deal they are offering is not that good I told them I am going elsewhere and he gave me such an attitude. Not only I would never buy from here but I will never recommend to anyone else either. More
