I've had two experiences with Sundance. The first being a little over ten years ago when my Chevy was under warranty and was taken for over $70 for them to diagnose a wrinkle in my seat. Frankly, the service advisor was not transparent and up front on any charges and if I refused to pay, they would hold my car. I came in to buy a car I saw last week for my father with cash. I not only had to go get a certified check even after providing proof of funding, the whole process took well over two hours even after I put down a deposit and indicated I would be in later on. For comparison, I ordered my 2024 Mustang GT Convertible and when it came to my local Ford dealer, it literally took 10 minutes including financing a portion along with my down payment and I was on the road. I failed to understand why when I could literally go private party, hand over a check, get the title, and drive off does buying a car take over two hours especially when the car was already prepped. I certainly hope the car I purchased for my father lasts for quite some time without any major issues as I do not ever want to step foot again into Sundance. More
