A positive review for a car dealership? Wow and absolutely! First I have to start with my buying experience. By far, the single best experience I've ever had in purchasing a vehicle. I've been eyeballing a Tundra for years and out of the blue they just happen to have an XP mammoth package listed that caught my attention. Knowing that this is an easy to sell vehicle, they did not have to work with me as hard as they did on pricing and financing yet they did, every step of the way. I definitely got a fair deal from both their sales and finance managers. I've owned my new Tundra for 4 months now and had to bring it in for my first service this past weekend. I travel for my job and am not home very often sometimes to include weekends so scheduling for me is often difficult. I called to see if I could schedule a last minute drop off on Sunday and was told that they were booked solid, but I could drop it off and pick it up on Monday afternoon, which I was fine with. I don't blame them for my lack of planning. I dropped of my Tundra on Sunday at noon and the service rep who was brand new (first day on the job) was excellent. I had an issue with a strange sound apparently coming from the leaf springs and a few other minor requests on top of it so I knew they might have my truck for longer than expected. The service rep was very attentive and courteous making sure to acknowledge everything I said showing he understood what I perceived the problems/issues to be. Took my key, signatures and off I went. 3 hours later he called me to tell me that he fit my truck in, it was all done so I could come pick it up at my leisure. When I arrived, he addressed each issue I brought up and what was done to address them. He displayed an actual understanding of the resolution as well which does mean a lot to me. No charge for any of the additional issues (though I feel they could have) and did a thorough walk-through with me to cover what was done to address my issues. Insanely impressive that they put in a level of care that goes beyond what they HAVE to do, versus what they choose to do. Though my next vehicle purchase is going to be for my wife and I've promised her a Tesla, I can say without any doubt that all of MY vehicle purchases and any influence I might have over friends or family will be to purchase from Sun Toyota. This is not a sponsored or paid review. This is me taking time out of my busy schedule to let as many people as I can know that from someone who has bought more cars over the last many years than a lot of people do that I've never had such a positive experience from both the sales, finance and service departments from a dealership. More
