Confusing and inconsistent In general, the way dealerships handle the sales process is mostly unpleasant. The first sales person I met with I felt comfortable discussing my situ In general, the way dealerships handle the sales process is mostly unpleasant. The first sales person I met with I felt comfortable discussing my situation and specific needs. It took several visits to your dealership and to other dealerships before I found the right car and price. Unfortunately the sales person I enjoyed working with was not very available after that first visit and a couple of emails/phone calls and rather than setting up an appointment time when I could meet with him, someone else was assigned to me...twice!. This was the unpleasant part. Now I had to repeat myself to each, get different information or "deals" from each for the same car and try to evaluate and sort it all out. On top of that, add to the mix, two different managers getting involved each with a different demeanor and different story about the state of the car. It was not pleasant to be told by one that the car had more than usual reconditioning to be done and would be going to auction in two days unless there was a buyer...and in that case, the extra work would be done and it would be sold at a dealer loss to me. Then to have two other people say the car was fine and all that was needed was an oil change. I didn't and don't appreciate being told untruths and "handled" in that manner. It is insulting to say the least. The only person that was relaxed and straightforward without being pushy was the first person I met with. I would have preferred working with him throughout the experience. In the end, after I competed the sale, when I discovered the "untruth" that was used as leverage, and was confused about how the numbers applied to the original quote, the first sales person made himself available again and helped smooth things over. Also, I found it strange that I could not get a very simple question or two answered by any of the people I met with. I wanted to know how the body of a Toyota automobile handles impact from a crash..this deterred me from buying a Toyota until I got the answer from a sales person at a Subaru dealership. Also, I got different answers regarding the cost of an oil change. Although your dealership appears to be efficient and organized I am not sure I would come back to purchase again. More
