BUYER BEWARE - Deceptive Advertising and Pricing Technique I came in to purchase a $38,500 vehicle. I had $8,500 in Equity on my trade and the final proposed purchase price was $41,500!! (Salesman Technique I came in to purchase a $38,500 vehicle. I had $8,500 in Equity on my trade and the final proposed purchase price was $41,500!! (Salesman math???) When questioned, the manager (Brian) told me they advertise their cars at their price and then add their profit at purchase. When challenged on this advertising tactic, he stated, it's disclosed in the fine print so it's not deceptive. My sales person, Frederick, was great to work with and professional, the deal didn't go bad until the manager got involved and treated me like I was stupid for not understanding his math! He even said "who is getting one over on who here". I don't want anyone to "get one over" on anyone else, how about you make a profit and I get a good car without anyone getting screwed! More
