Hello Mr. W, I must respectfully disagree with your allegations. We are the same honest people that you applauded in your first review. It should be noted in that review that you mentioned "He was accommodating when we had to make changes to the lease". Perhaps your request to change the lease explains why the confusion might have occurred? However, it is quite incorrect that we failed to check your daughter's (Ms. W) prior lease or that we relied on "hearsay" or that you were left to pay extra $1000 out of pocket. We relied on figures directly from yourself and from the bank holding your prior lease. This would not be considered "hearsay". We agreed to write a check to your daughter for $500.00 to help with the expense of terminating her prior lease. (Perhaps you are unaware that as of July 24th, this check has still not been cashed) You were supposed to pay the other $500.00. And to avoid any disputes, we then wrote the exact details of our promises on the initial sales order, bill of sale, and even a separate bank payoff form. All three forms were read and signed by Ms. W too. In fact, she even signed right next to the actual numbers, $500.00, on the bill of sale for the check we were giving her. We also gave her copies of each. All these forms are available for you to review too. Further, we DO NOT HAVE voice recorders in our sales office. We do have audio-video at the reception desk in the showroom and at our parts counter. One of these devices recorded our sales manager, Kevin, clearly explaining the facts and figures to you and your daughter along with your out of pocket expense. We invited you to hear his words on the video recording and you declined. You also declined to send us the payoff letter you received from the bank for your prior lease. We offered to review that letter for possible bank errors. It should also be understood that the bank was owed money for the prior lease whether your daughter got a new car here or elsewhere. You did not incur any additional expense. The amount due was fixed and certain. It was just a matter of paying the amount owed separately or building it into the next lease at a higher payment and getting a payoff check from a dealership. In all, this was not a matter of dealer incompetence nor did you get any "hassles" at my company. We absolutely kept 100% of our promises and it's backed up by at least 3 signed documents with large print and a recording of our sales manager carefully explaining the details. Few other dealerships would go to such extremes to avoid misunderstandings. And it's really not fair to compare us to another dealership where the terms of your own transaction were quite different from that of your daughter's. There's also over 400 other reviews on DealerRater with glowing reports on the straightforward transactions here. While we certainly regret losing a customer for most any reason, the facts simply do not fairly support the allegations. We do wish you good luck and safe driving with your new vehicles and of course your daughter will still be welcome here for service on her new car. Patrick R.
