Working with Royal Wilkinson made the entire process of purchasing a new car I just drove home in my new 2015 Subaru Outback 3.6 for the first time. Working with Royal Wilkinson made the entire process of purchasing a new car such a pleasure. I knew exactly which vehicle I wanted to buy so I surveyed other dealership prices and Royal bested them. I planned on using the proceeds of my old vehicle toward the purchase of the new one and he was able to give me the best trade-in price. Royal placed a factory order for my desired car and it was delivered a bit earlier than promised. When I arrived to pick it up Royal was very personable and patient, explaining everything in detail to ensure my understanding of the many features of my new Subaru. Before I left the dealership we examined the new vehicle together and he even took me on a test drive to demonstrate some of the more complex installed options. I highly recommend both Subaru/Mazda of El Cajon and Royal Wilkinson, Internet Sales Manager. My thanks for a job exceeding well done and for your commitment to strive for perfection. More

mixed feelings We were 'left hanging' for over 30 minutes by our appointed salesman Randall. While walking around the lot, we met another salesman 'Jessie' who saved our day. He was new but friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Our test drive of a '15 Forester resulted in an immediate love of the vehicle. It was perfect for us and what we were looking for. Our application process was understandably lengthy due to our lack of established credit...yet their finance department was able to get us financed when no one else would. However a word to the wise, make sure you deal with "Ronnie" in the finance department and NOT "Lisa". She definitely needs work on her people skills. All-in-all we are very happy campers with our new 2015 Forester. We have no reviews of the service department as we have yet to meet them. But when you drive off in your new Subaru, make sure you get the full tank of gas that you were promised on the window sticker, we didn't. It just happens that that lengthy day was ending in a windy rain storm so we told our salesman Jessie not to worry about the 1/4 tank of gas. It was not his fault. We were just happy to be driving off in an awesome new Subaru. All in all?...YES Deb and I would recommend Subaru El Cajon to anyone in the market for a new car. Overall we would give our personal experience a 4 1/2 star rating. More

First new car I bought a car from Subaru of El Cajon and it was really pleasant and painless. Of all the dealerships I shopped this was the only one who didn't cons I bought a car from Subaru of El Cajon and it was really pleasant and painless. Of all the dealerships I shopped this was the only one who didn't constantly hound me to buy a vehicle for weeks on end. I worked with Randall one of the salesman and he was extremely helpful. I told him the exact car I wanted and instead of trying to get me to buy one of the cars already on the lot, he took the time to find one in the system after a week or so, the car came in and he picked me up from my home to finalize the deal. The whole staff was very professional and efficient. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend both Subaru and this dealership to anyone in the market for a vehicle. More

Definitely the BEST Subaru Dealership in all of San Diego There is a lot about this dealership that has already been said. They were able to offer me a deal that was going to be significantly cheaper in monthly payments than I thought was possible. I have been to other dealerships but really my sales person Royal Wilkinson treated me like a human and not just another sale. He remembered the small things like my friend who dropped me off as much as the big things like this is my first new car ever. The whole staff there are friendly humanistic people. And this is a dealership/experience I will truly treasure. More
