What a great experience! Chuck Cavanaro was fantastic; Down to earth no nonsense, professional, knowledge, personable. I would recommend him to anyone. He listened to what I w Chuck Cavanaro was fantastic; Down to earth no nonsense, professional, knowledge, personable. I would recommend him to anyone. He listened to what I was looking for and exceeded my expectations. Everyone from Chuck, Paul Sullivan who helped with an agreeable deal, Ian in finance who was just the nicest guy and made the paperwork easy, to Brandon in client relations, a familiar face from the past. Even the other salesmen on the floor were friendly and pleasant. We have bought cars at Sullivan Brothers before but bought our last cars at another dealer. I am so glad I went back to Sullivan this time. It was a great experience. Love my new Murano!!! Thanks you guys! More

Car several thousand more than listed!!! I just returned from two hours on the road to see a 2009 Nissan Altima hybrid. I contacted Sullivan Brothers to confirm the listing. I set up a time I just returned from two hours on the road to see a 2009 Nissan Altima hybrid. I contacted Sullivan Brothers to confirm the listing. I set up a time with Evan to test drive the car. Everything went smoothly until they told us that the car was $6,000 more than the listed price of $8,300. Yes, they claimed that the car was $14,000 +, but that they could let me have it for $12,000. I said no. Then they showed me the NADA value which was $9,200. I said no. Then they said we could do the deal for the listed price of 8,300. Then after I signed an offer sheet and started talking about interest rates they suddenly changed their minds and said they would not do the deal for less than $9,200!!!! This was after they agreed to honor the listed price. I left. I will not be back. I will be sharing this story with friends and strangers and anyone who will listen.. AVOID!!! More
$400 repair turns into $4,000+ NIGHTMARE !!! YOU Be My Judge ... (I'll provide updates as they occur - hopefully!) Whether you chose to go to Sullivan Brothers is up to you... But here is my sto YOU Be My Judge ... (I'll provide updates as they occur - hopefully!) Whether you chose to go to Sullivan Brothers is up to you... But here is my story for any consideration. [Any Opinions???] I have a 2005 Nissan Armada that recently had a transmission line rupture, 2.2 miles from the Sullivan Brothers shop. I immediately pulled over on route 6, upon losing drive power. I know it was 2.2 miles because I used AAA to tow it. I figured that having a higher end vehicle, I would better off taking it to a Nissan Dealership rather than any regular repair shop. To replace the hose cost $400. I was very cautious and clear in asking, "could there be any other problems caused...?" The Tech Coordinator Joe Martel, stated "you did yourself a favor by stopping quickly - you're all set. We test drove and ran diagnostics and NO codes showed up - you're all set." ... Well no sooner did I arrive back to the Cape did engine lights pop on, but also the transmission started to slip! I immediately called Sullivan Bros. to hear that I should drive it back to be checked! Hesitant to drive the vehicle, I requested a tow, only to be denied. I was told to drive it slowly so I took 2 hours to drive route 6A to route 3A. After arriving and Sullivan Bros. checked the vehicle, they broke the news to me that I had two options: a $3300 used transmission or a $4000+ re manufactured tranny!!! I was blown away with their matter of fact - "it's your choice" statement! My first questions of whether the initial services were competently completed were completely dismissed! Instead it was suggested that "We can't diagnose problems that may occur in the future"...!!! Are you kidding me - not even a diagnosis after you've made a repair !!??!? Being angry and desperate - I reached back to Sullivan Bros.to request some or any form of assistance. I spoke with the Service Manager Joe Vandanza, who in the nicest way suggested that they would do nothing and they would treat any other vehicle the same way. Of course I asked if he could produce the service report showing they ran the codes, but he didn't think that was available. Of course I'm guessing that when push comes to shove, a report will be produced. So, as of this very moment, I'm left with a broken car, a $4000 repair bill to get my car fixed and no recourse but to reach out to the court of public opinion. I'm very interested in hearing any responses as to whether I should seek advice in the court of law, or if anyone has had similar experiences? Would I purchase another Nissan or work with Sullivan Bros. again?... My experience to date has been enough. Of course, I'm hopeful that they reconsider their position on assistance. They did of course offer a loaner while they would repair my car for the $1,000's more. I declined as I don't have the money at the moment to pay for that level of repair, and I suggested it would be disingenuous. While I would hope that speedy service in order to finish a basic "hose job" was not the culprit... But considering the statement I was offered, "diagnostics can't predict the future"... who knows!? Unbelievably deceptive As I read other reviews, I was amazed that most of them are either extremely great or extremely horrific. How can that be? My son (a twenty-somethi As I read other reviews, I was amazed that most of them are either extremely great or extremely horrific. How can that be? My son (a twenty-something first time buyer) had an unbelievablely bad experience. He was sold a 2014 Toyota Corolla with 22,000 miles for approximately $23,000. Then they added a $2000 "Certified" extended warranty and $800 for Gap insurance. To take it a step further, they financed the "deal" for 6.9% for 7 years. Monthly payment $410, total cost including financing approximately $34,000. (For a little more, he could have bought a Mercedes-Benz). A 2014 factory Certified car, for this model should have been priced for approximately $16,000. This information was from the dealer's own website, using info from same models advertised. Also, the dealer was selling brand new 2016 models of the same car for approximately $23,000 (correct price for that year). How can a new car cost the same as a used car, 2 years old, with 22,000 miles??!! (Same model equivalent). There is more to the story, but you get the picture: dishonest, predatory, and intentionally deceptive. I can't think of a better way to attract new customers (NOT!!)! We are pursuing some resolution through Stare Attorney General Office, Consumer Assistance Council, Federal Trade Commission, and other avenues. However, as bad as this behavior is on the part of the dealer, it is unlikely that any laws have been broken. I just hope that the dealership owners are proud to be in this elite group of automobile dealers, who represent the worst of this type of business. Hopefully someday they will receive the recognition that they deserve. More
