I scheduled the service appointment with them well in advance. I drove 40 miles to Suburban on a Saturday early morning to find that they do not have the part. It was really frustrating since they knew I was coming in for a part recall. The person at the service desk (Greg - not sure if I got the name right) was very rude and also did not seem to be apologetic in his behavior. A big disappointment for driving all the way on a weekend and not having the job done. More frustrating was the rude behavior. Francis More

The business of sales is not only a technique born of nature and nurtured through experience, it is also an art that is unique from person to person. There are many personalities and "styles" in the art of the sale. One person may have an aggressive style, another may have the subtle "you just can resist but want to get to know him/her more" style that can easily lead to the sale. It is that method that I prefer and have spent many years trying to perfect. It is an art of persuasion, of rationalization, of logic, and ultimately...of seduction. Sales is like dating. You have to get to know your customer well before you can know what he or she wants. And then, when you do, you need to have the experience or knowledge to know how to give him or her what she wants. But the best salesperson not only does that, he or she ultimately give them what they NEED and at the same time convincing them it is also what they WANT. Want becomes Need. Need is Want. The two terms are one and the same in perfect harmon, unison and convergence. Cheryl is that kind of salesperson. She will be THE asset to any sales team. Yet at the same time, she is so humble and down-to-earth (pride will destroy all of the beauty of what I stated above). It is that humility that ultimately closes deals and brings in the money for any organization's bottom-line. It is that humility that allows her to be a team player yet hit her quota and numbers. And in a car dealer setting, it is only the numbers that matter.
