Service center is AWFUL! I'd rather chew my own arm off than go back there! Manager John Sejuitt and mechanic/technician Bill are unhelpful, unorganized, and incompetent. My car wouldn't start one night so than go back there! Manager John Sejuitt and mechanic/technician Bill are unhelpful, unorganized, and incompetent. My car wouldn't start one night so I called and made an appointment the next morning for it to be towed up there and checked out. Thought they would be the best option since I drive a VW. They said they would call me around 2pm, I had to call at 4pm to find out that they FORGOT to look at my car. They refused to give me a rental after they told me they would since I work in Ann Arbor. They took a week to replace a fuel filter because they "had to order one from Germany" which turned out to be complete bs, they just couldn't figure out what was wrong with it that night (at first they thought it was a bad sensor). Two days after I got my car back from them, and a thousand dollars later, my car wouldn't start. Now I was obligated to go back there a second time. I finally got a rental only to be treated with horrible customer service, as if I was a burden because they couldn't fix the problem the first time. I had to call and pester them for updates because their customer service is so awful. Two weeks later they decided to blame it on bad gas. I'm still not sure if that was even true but at least my car runs now! Next time I will have it towed 40 miles back to Ann Arbor to Howard Cooper Imports!!! More

I took my2007 Mazda3 in because it was grinding in first gear on a Friday; the server rep drove it away and hears the grinding. Mark called on Saturday and said the mechanic couldn't find anything and Mark gear on a Friday; the server rep drove it away and hears the grinding. Mark called on Saturday and said the mechanic couldn't find anything and Mark will have the mechanic recheck on Monday. Monday the mechanic heard it grinding and dug into the transmission. 1st and reverse gear were touching; they were contacting Mazda for authorization to rebuild. Oh ya, the mechanic says the check warning light was on. Diagnostic would be $110, and I authorized it thinking it was something serious. Tuesday, Mazda says they were replacing the transmission and the diagnostic says the rear O2 sensor was out and it would be almost $500 to replace it. Now I started getting suspicious, and told em no. They replaced the transmission and I picked it up on Friday night. Check engine light didn’t come one driving it. We get into the car on Saturday and the rear floor board has water so deep in it, the level was over the floor mats. Checked the past weather and it rained 4 of the 7 days/nights it was at Suburban Imports of Farmington Hills. Drove all weekend, still no sensor light. Monday back to the dealer so they can assess the water. The only thing they can find is the passenger door wasn’t seated right, but not enough to leak. They have no clue where the water was from, so there was nothing to fix. No, our porters and mechanics would never leave the windows open. Sorry there is nothing we can do. So for a recap, 1st time the mechanic checks out the car, he can’t hear the gears grinding, he is the only one to ever see the check engine light come on, and I get the car back with standing water in it. I would not advice ever going to this place. I’ve bought 5 cars in the last 7 years from different dealers and dealt with a few others, calling it 7 to 8 dealers I never had a problem with. But when I go to Suburban Imports of Farmington Hills I end up with more issues then when I took it in. More
