Miscommuncaiton, lack of trust in sales Wife and I were interested in upgrading her Mazda 3 which was purchased from this dealer (along with her previous Mazda as well). Given she had purch Wife and I were interested in upgrading her Mazda 3 which was purchased from this dealer (along with her previous Mazda as well). Given she had purchased 2 cars in the past I assumed we would be taken care of. The initial sales associate had very little knowledge of the CX-5 model and was scattered when we arrived. After test driving another sales associate basically stole us from the other and starting talking price. I thought the initial pricing had some room to move which is fine, but the trade in value for her current Mazda was garbage. We went back and forth (over confusing emails) for a week or so and the dealer was not working with us at all. I called another local dealer who gave me exactly what I was looking for without hassle. Out of respect I gave Suburban the chance to match and I was told the other dealer was not going to give me what they had agreed to. Two days later I was driving a new CX-5 from the other dealer. About a month later the initial sales associate called me asking if I was still interested in the CX-5. Clearly they never talked to their colleague or would have known it didn't work out. Shame! Moral of the story: Shop around....this dealer does not have your best interest in mind only their bottom line. More

Great Experience w/ Doug StLouis and Suburban Mazda of Troy I called with a car and reasonable deal in mind. By the time I got there the car was ready and waiting, as was the paperwork. Took Me 9 weeks and 3 Visits To get Things Fixed My car had 17k mile, there were several minor things need to be repaired. such as rear seat latch, trunk trim piece, etc. I came in 9/2/17, The servi My car had 17k mile, there were several minor things need to be repaired. such as rear seat latch, trunk trim piece, etc. I came in 9/2/17, The service advisor Ron wrote a work order, I was told I will get a call, no response after 9 days, finally, I reached service manager John, he said nothing will be covered under warranty. I filed an online complain through BBB, Mazda customer care informed me and John that Mazda will cover the repairs. John insisted that I need to came in for his technician to examine the rear seat latch, so I came in second time, waited one and half hour, John told me nothing was wrong, so I pulled rear seat latch in front of him, seat will not come down, then John tried, did not work, He said then this should cover under warranty. waited another week, I called John with no response, another service advisor answered the phone, stating all parts were in stock, so I scheduled the 3nd appointment a few days later, on the day of the appointment, I reached out service department, John told me no one told him parts are ready, I got a post card from parts department stating parts are ready. I contacted john again, he set an appointment a week later. on 11/7/17, I spent over 2 hours there, many other customers came in after me got service finished before me. I never heard a word from John that "I am sorry", instead, he was doing things to punish me to go through BBB. His knowledge about bump to bump warranty is very poor, he never admits even he was wrong, like the rear latch. So please go somewhere else for you vehicle service, if you have to use this one, make sure don't let John doing the similar things on you! More

Friendly Service James Sirr was a great sales person. We arrived late in the day to test drive a vehicle I found online. I liked the vehicle but I didn't love it. Desp James Sirr was a great sales person. We arrived late in the day to test drive a vehicle I found online. I liked the vehicle but I didn't love it. Despite it being close to closing time James took the time to find us another model they had in stock with all the features I wanted and a better engine. He was always courteous, and never made us feel like jerks for being there so late. James was always upfront and made us feel comfortable with our purchase. I definitely look forward to working with James for future purchases. More
