I had the most wonderful experience at Suburban Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Working with Mark Tillman was a wonderful experience. I visited several different dealerships and not one single sales person I worked Jeep Dodge. Working with Mark Tillman was a wonderful experience. I visited several different dealerships and not one single sales person I worked with wanted to focus on me. Being a women they always seemed to treat me as if i was not a serious customer. Then I met Mark Tillman, he sold me the vehicle I wanted. He did not once try to sell me something that he wanted. He always listened to my concerns, and geared everything around me. He made the process precise and slow, it did not feel like he rushed me into anything. I love my Jeep Liberty and I feel this was the most friendly and caring sales experience i have ever had. Thanks Mark. Natalie More

Before coming in to Suburban CJD of Troy, I had been to several other dealerships who were not very helpful for me. It was my first time financing a car and I didn't have too much money to work with. Sub several other dealerships who were not very helpful for me. It was my first time financing a car and I didn't have too much money to work with. Suburban CJD was able to help me get approved for the perfect car and I couldn't be more happy! Chuck Diamond was a pleasure to work with and he made the experience very comfortable and friendly. I would definitely recommend getting a car here! More
I took my vehicle in for a 9:30 am appointment on a Friday. After waiting 3 hrs, no one had given me any updates on my vehicle. I returned to service desk to ask for update and waited for 15-20 minutes Friday. After waiting 3 hrs, no one had given me any updates on my vehicle. I returned to service desk to ask for update and waited for 15-20 minutes for my lane manager to return just to tell me the mechanic hadn't provided any updates. When he returned from speaking with mechanic, I was informed that the mechanic thought my issues may be related to bad gas and that he'd need to get a fuel sample in order to confirm & that I need brakes which he believed explained the rattling noise I was hearing, but he would have to check on rotors. I insisted that I did not believe it was bad gas nor did I think the rattling was brake related. I waited another 30 minutes for the mechanic to actually run diagnostics on my vehicle wherein he found that there was some issue with the engine, but could not indicate what without tearing my engine down. I was told it would be able to be looked at until Monday at that point because I was unable to wait any longer. I was there a total of 4 hrs and had no repairs or actual work performed on my vehicle. I had my vehicle towed back the next day (Saturday) so that it would be there 1st thing Monday. Monday came and past and I received no word on my vehicle. Tuesday morning came and past, still no word. I called the dealer after 4 pm on Tuesday and was asked if I was sure my vehicle was there. Then after locating it, I was asked if it was dropped off Monday. I indicated it had been there since Saturday and was placed on hold to get a status. When the lane manager returned he indicated that the mechanic saw something going on with the oil in the vehicle, but he would need to tear the vehicle down more to determine what was the cause. I later received a call asking if I had the receipt to my oil change service provider. I delivered it to the dealer in person the next day, along with the receipts for the past year. I was told that they wanted to ensure I had not used a know service that had used bad oil in the past. I had not used the same service. I then had to authorize to have the oilpan removed in order to root cause further. I authorized it. Again, I waited for a service update, but received none by 2:30pm Thursday, so I contacted the dealer AGAIN. This time I was asked if my call could be returned. After 45 minutes I received a return call informing me that my oil was containmented and that I would need a new engine. I was told that there was a possibility that if I used Valvoline oil and had my oil changed in June, I received a bad batch of oil based on reports that the service manager had heard. I asked to speak to the service manager and waited over 15 minutes but he was never located. The mechanic did take me back to see my vehicle and indicated that he felt the oil was containmented & that was the only explanantion for my issue. I asked for an estimate for repairs. None was readily available, so I asked for one to be faxed to me. I went to my oil change service provider & asked them to verify what oil was used in my vehicle. I was told that their I received their basic oil, which is a Penzoil product, not Valvoline as suspected by the dealership. My oil change service provider has signage that shows they carry the Valvoline brand which I mentioned to the dealership. However, they are not an exclusive Valvoline provider. They also carry Quaker State, Penzoil, Castrol & Mobile 1. I contacted the dealership back to inform them that Valvoline was not used, to inquire about the estimate that was faxed to me & to insure that the only cause could be containmented oil. I left a message around 6 pm. However, it was not returned and service was open until 9 pm today. While I am not happy about the prospect of having to pay for my engine to be replaced, in my mind that is not as bad as the idea of having to continue to deal with this service department. They have not been timely at all in regards to getting back to me on the status of my vehicle or discussing next steps. Each time I have had to contact them and they have had my vehicle almost a full business week! I would have preferred to know my status and would have elected to pay to have the engine replaced on my own by now rather than to be without a vehicle for what looks like it will be 2 weeks at this point. It is my true belief that my vehicle was not truly worked on for the first time until today, which is unacceptable. More
I would gladly recommend both Suburban Jeep as a dealership and also Glen Campbell as a salesperson to anyone I know that might be looking for a new vehicle. The first thing Glen did was give me AL dealership and also Glen Campbell as a salesperson to anyone I know that might be looking for a new vehicle. The first thing Glen did was give me ALL of his contact info, including his personal cell phone number. I knew then that there would not be any issues with communication. I was correct. I told Glen what we were looking for and what our expectations were. From there, he exceeded our expectations in giving us our options. Once we decided to go through with the deal, both he and all involved in closing the deal, were very accomodating and efficient in getting everything signed and delivered. I specifically went to Suburban because of my past experience being such a positive one. I live an hour away and still chose to come down to Suburban to purchase my vehicle. In the future, I will be back and will hope to work with Glen again as well. Thank you!! More

We contacted Suburban CJD via an Internet inquiry on a specific Town & Country we found in their inventory. The Internet salesperson responded to my inquiry immediately, and asked additional relevant que specific Town & Country we found in their inventory. The Internet salesperson responded to my inquiry immediately, and asked additional relevant questions to make sure we were taking advantage of all the incentives available to us. Within an hour, Bill contacted us via email and followed up by phone. He ran numbers same day (several different ways ... lease, buy, etc.) to try to get us the best deal. He was completely upfront with the finance rate and the residual, and gave us several options. We took several weeks to finally decide what we were going to do, and Bill periodically checked in to answer any questions we had. Overall, I can't say enough good things about our sales experience -- Bill worked very hard for us. Everything was handled extremely professionally, the communication was accurate, timely, and completely upfront, and the delivery was fast and easy. The dealership itself is clean with nice amenities, and I felt comfortable having my two children there during delivery, knowing they would be safe and entertained. The only negative experience we had was with the F&I portion ... it was a hard, pressure sell for the different service pack options, which I didn't appreciate considering our experience everywhere else was anything but pressured. I know it's the nature of F&I to try to upsell you on different packages, but this was the hardest sell I can remember in 5 vehicles I've acquired in the past. More
My experience in working with Suburban Chrysler Jeep Dodge, and particularly my salesperson, Bill Messina, was fabulous, and unexpected. I had no knowledge of this dealer prior to my purchase, and in f Dodge, and particularly my salesperson, Bill Messina, was fabulous, and unexpected. I had no knowledge of this dealer prior to my purchase, and in fact was given referrals by friends for other dealerships. The referrals didn't follow through, but Suburban completely did. I had to shop for a vehicle under short notice, and thought it was going to be a complete disaster. I couldn't have been happier to be wrong. I know credit to my particular experience is because of all the effort and follow through of my salesperson, Bill Messina. And due to my purchase window being short on time, credit also goes to Larry Thompson for getting back to me quickly after my initial internet contact, AND, giving me the information I requested. I'm sure all car shoppers have different variables, but my circumstances required making as few dealer trips as possible. I needed concrete specs and numbers via internet researching, and Larry provided the information I needed to feel Suburban could meet my requirements. And Bill worked diligently the rest of the way to get me into the right vehicle. Throughout the entire process, I felt Suburban listened to what I was looking for and worked very hard to make it happen. Though, there may have been one initial "auto-response" from the internet contact, after that I felt treated like a customer. Other dealerships issued a lot of email form letters - but they felt like form letters. Suburban quickly made it feel personal, and kept my individual requirements in mind throughout. I went into this process with total apprehension, and left referring all my friends! More
