The reason I gave the ratings I did was because of the overall service I have received after purchasing the vehicle I purchased. The day I went to the dealership to buy a used car, everyone was nice and overall service I have received after purchasing the vehicle I purchased. The day I went to the dealership to buy a used car, everyone was nice and helpful, though there was a wait to see a sales associate. After purchasing the car within a week and a half I noticed a sound coming from the front right tire. I was leaving to go out of town for my job the next day so I didn't have time to take the car all the back to Troy. I live in Livonia. So I took the car to Belle Tire where after they diagonsed the problem they contacted the warranty company (this warranty added another $1300 to the vehicle price). The warranty company said the part was not covered because it was a "worn" part. I just got the car and had only driven it maybe 150 miles. So I know I was not responsible for wearing the part out. On top of getting this part replaced, I also had to get an all wheel alignment. The front right side was out of alignment and the back was totally out of alignment. My husband had called John, our sales rep, to discuss this, we did not hear back from him and so my husband left a message for the used car manager, who never returned his call. John did finally return my husband's call days later and said that there was nothing that could be done, that we should have brought it back to them, but if we had any more problems, to give him a call. Low and behold a couple of days later my ABS and traction light came on and wouldn't go off. My husband called John and John said to bring the car in. Here it was just over 2 weeks of having the car and shelling out over $300 already, I now had to shell out another $100 to get the ABS sensor replaced, thank goodness it was a covered part on my warranty and I only had to pay the $100 deductable. We thought that our Sales Rep John would call us back to see how things went, but he didn't. I am now feeling that once they sell you a used car, they could careless about what happens. This used car was $10,000, to me, that is alot of money and I could understand if something went wrong a few months down the road, but not after having the car for under 1 month. I am very disappointed with this dealership. More
I have not been to or dealt with a car dealership in nearly seven (7) years, since I purchased my first new car. Dealerships and salesman can be very intimidating, and I do not like feeling pushed, rus nearly seven (7) years, since I purchased my first new car. Dealerships and salesman can be very intimidating, and I do not like feeling pushed, rushed, taken advantage of, or dealing with the stereotypical "pushy" salesman. I can honestly say that I did not feel this way at all at Suburban Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge of Troy. I originally inquired about a new 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee on internet, and was contacted within a day (although by automated e-mail) by Mitch Collins. Mr. Collins also contacted me by telephone to follow up with my request for information online. I contacted Mr. Collins by telephone and setup an appointment to come into the dealership to test drive a 2012 Grand Cherokee. When I arrived at the Dealership, I met with Mr. Collins, and he was extremely polite and professional. Mr. Collins then set me up with a salesman (Jim Gaeschke) to take care of my needs. Mr. Gaeschke was very personable and friendly right off the bat. I spoke with Mr. Gaeschke regarding what type of Grand Cherokee I was looking for as far as trims, colors, and options. Almost immediately, he found one and suggested we take it for a drive. Mr. Gaeschke was very knowledgeable about the Grand Cherokee and pointed out many features that I was unaware that it had. I was weighing the options of buying or leasing my new vehicle, and Mr. Gaeschke worked out the figures to show me both options so I could choose what best suited me. Mr. Gaeschke was easy to deal with, did not hesitate to answer any questions I had, and made the entire process as smooth as possible for me. At no time did I feel intimidated or pressured into making any decisions on the spot. I would certainly recommend both Suburban Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge of Troy and Mr. Gaeschke to any friends or family that were looking for a Chrysler vehicle. More

Very friendly group of people. Convieniently located in Troy. Price of their cars is substantially better than other car dealers. Reasonably fast at returning e-mails and phone calls. I was very impressed with the way the dealership looks inside and out. I was also very satisfied with Jeff and his helpfulness. I needed to get into a car fast and that is exactly how things happened. I d inside and out. I was also very satisfied with Jeff and his helpfulness. I needed to get into a car fast and that is exactly how things happened. I described to him what I wanted and he had the perfect Chrysler 200 Touring black on black w/cloth seats on the lot for me. He also showed and explained in good detail all the functins of the car and how they worked. When I met with John Sawson we found that there was a misunderstanding concerning the financing. I was not expecting to put any money down on the car because I don't have it to put down. But John was able to come through for me and get me a good deal. I was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise. I'm very happy! Thank you. More
