I am currently leasing a 2024 Jeep Cherokee 4e - my experiences with Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Ann Arbor and Stellantis are terrible. At 5000 miles (about 6 months after lease), the push igni experiences with Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Ann Arbor and Stellantis are terrible. At 5000 miles (about 6 months after lease), the push ignition went in a failure loop and could not turn off the care- there is no hard stop, off option on the vehicle and you can’t access the battery – this occurred at 11 PM at night in Rochester and when I called Stellantis – they stated they could not authorize a tow truck into the AM, I had to let the vehicle run for 8 hrs in the drive way and then it was towed to the local dealership who hassled me about a rental vehicle stating they did not have loaners, and I would have to pay out of pocket – I ended up calling enterprise who billed the dealership and got me a rental care (thank goodness for enterprise)- the Rochester Hills dealership had my car for 2 weeks. For the most recent recall on the battery – I called the dealership to schedule service- but someone from either a call center or Stellantis picked up the phone and lied that they were at the dealership as when I asked to speak to a center rep they did not know the gender of the person or to whom I was referring – once I finally got a hold of the rep (they initially sent me a text and it took 5 return calls to speak to a person) the service team told me it could take 1 day or up to six weeks and that they could not provide a vehicle. It is written into my lease that I need a car to drive, when I pointed that out to the service rep, he transferred me to Warranty rep Marci Orr who lied to me regarding the terms of my lease; When I pointed this out and told her she was lying on a recorded line, she hung up the phone and called me back on her cell phone. I am 43 years old and have leased/purchased and maintained 5 vehicles (including GMC/Chevy, Ford and previously a Jeep)- this is my first truly disappointing experience with a car, dealership and automotive company. I will never purchase another Jeep nor will I deal with Suburban dealership group. The poor customer service experiences from both Suburban and Stellantis as well as the frank flat out lies are too disappointing and unethical for me to engage in business with these organizations. The problem stems from incorrect or incomplete original paperwork that was not properly finalized until the end of the month due to their delay. Despite this being entirely the result of their internal oversight, I have been repeatedly contacted. I have made every effort to cooperate and resolve the matter in good faith. Instead of working toward a solution professionally, I have continued to receive persistent and intimidating communications. This approach is unacceptable and unprofessional. I would strongly caution others to ensure all paperwork is thoroughly reviewed and documented when dealing with this company. More
