I would like to start by saying, when we pulled into the dealership, we were greeted by Shane Lynch, he made this experience of car shopping a breeze! It's nerve wracking to me and he made us feel comfortable! He was very knowledgeable about the Malibu I purchased too! I would highly recommend this dealership and once again, I will refer my friends to Shane Lynch for sure! More

Nasty, Snide, Dishonest Sales People My daughter was looking for a car and needed me as a co-signer. I have bought over 20 cars in my lifetime. My daughter found a used Mazda at this S My daughter was looking for a car and needed me as a co-signer. I have bought over 20 cars in my lifetime. My daughter found a used Mazda at this Suburban Chevrolet in Eden Prairie. She dealt with a salesperson named Jack. Unfortunately she fell in love with the car, because he was very snide, and made numerous false representations. He claimed the vehicle had been inspected by his service department, but when we asked to see a copy of it all we were presented with was a work order receipt of an oil change and a light bulb being replaced. Along with it was a blank checklist of items on a car--not signed by any mechanic nor filled in. Then they lowballed my daughter's trade by 35% in comparison to see other trade-in appraisals done by other dealerships. When we told this salesperson we wanted to think about it, and list my daughter's trade in on Craigslist--and then get back to him, this salesperson got in our faces yelling at us and asking why we came in to waste his time if we weren't serious. We did leave the dealership and my daughter talked to a co-worker that evening who agreed to buy her car (for a price where the other 3 dealerships had appraised her car, and more than 50% over the price Suburban Chevy lowballed her on). Therefore my daughter called Suburban Chevy back and told them she would come in the next day and sign papers to buy the used Mazda from them. When I was with her at the dealership both her and I filled out a credit app. I had to cosign because her credit is not good. Mine was pulled and my score was 830. We were putting down over 60% of the sales price of the car--only financing 40%. We were told a payment and the interest rate would be around 4.5%. That was acceptable to me, because that was in line with the other dealerships. However, when I went back the next day with her to sign the papers to my shock they were going to charge her 8.99%. I knew darn well the dealership was charging her over the par rate, to make an additional profit. If it were up to me, I would have run and not walked away from the deal. However, I went out to the waiting area and explained carefully to me daughter what was going on. I told her the extra interest would cost her about $1000 over the term of the loan. Even though she understood she was being screwed with, she loved the car and felt paying on the loan would raise her credit, so it was a price she was willing to pay. Though I disagreed with her decision, she is an adult and it was going to be her car and not mine. As a final nail in the coffin, on the loan note we were signing, in the fine print which the finance guy, Matt, did not want me to read, it said specifically the dealership had a right to charge a higher APR then the lender and profit from it. When I brought this up to Matt, to let him know that I knew what he was pulling, he responded with yet another lame lie.To top it off, he then got real unprofessional making snide and disparaging remarks about the profession I was in. A lot of class--all of it 3rd! Hopefully the vehicle doesn't turn out to be a lemon for my daughter's sake. If it had me being the buyer, rather than my daughter, I wouldn't have let my emotions override my decision. All I can say is that in over 40 years buying vehicles, from some good car dealers and some not very good at all, these guys were the most unprofessional and biggest fairy-tale tellers I had ever dealt with!! This was my first time car buying experience and the staff are EXTREMELY unfriendly, not only do they not care how you are treated. But once you buy a car they throw you aside and do no give 2 cents on staff are EXTREMELY unfriendly, not only do they not care how you are treated. But once you buy a car they throw you aside and do no give 2 cents on any issues you may have. If you are looking to buy a new car, RUN. RUN in the opposite direction of this dealership and go to any other chevrolet dealer..Unless you liked to get screwed over, over charged and thrown aside after they get their money. More

Overall, a smooth transaction. We had to wait forever for the business office guy to finish with another customer, but that is not his fault. for the business office guy to finish with another customer, but that is not his fault. More
I had 2 new tires put on my car. They did a great job of recommending and replacing the new tires. I did have 2 other issues they pointed out to me...but never really let me know how important those issues recommending and replacing the new tires.
