We recently purchased a 2011 Traverse from Veronica Bryan at the Suburban Collection of Ann Arbor. In researching a new car, we had visited several other dealerships. Our experience at Suburban was by far the best, from the first visit to answering our questions along the way to picking up our new car. Veronica was very helpful, listened to what we were looking for and found the exact car we wanted. Suburban also gave us a fair value for our trade in. This dealership gave me very bad customer service. I went to their website for a car I was interested in and filled out an online finance application and e-mailed their internet sales person. I visited the dealership 8 hours later since I was in Ann Arbor for the day. Of course the car I was interested in was gone. I did test drive 2 other cars they had on the lot similar to the original one. They did find another car on auction. It still took 3 more hours to get financing. Mind you I do have a very good credit rating. When I went to sign the paperwork, my interest rate had increased by a full percentage point from what the sales man had told me. I went a head and signed the paperwork. After sleeping on it I e-mail the person that went over the loan paperwork and told him about my displeasure. I finally had to call him to get a response about the car and the financing. The original visit to the dealership was on Tuesday and the plan was for the auction car to be purchased at at the dealership for me to pick up on Wednesday evening. I had to call the finance guy and the salesman several times to get everything straightened out even though they said they would call me back. I did end up with the original interest rate but the dealership had to make a special deal to get it for me. I had to call them back today because I still have not received my plate after purchasing the car 2 weeks ago since the temporary plate expires tomorrow. After being told they did not have a salesman by the name of Mark Fultz and being put on hold and then sent to a voice mail, they told me that it takes longer to receive the plate since the car was purchased in Ohio. They are to overnight me a new temporary plate. We will see if this crappy customer service continues. More

My recent experience has been buying parts for swapping an LS engine into my 81 Camaro hotrod. The parts department has been wonderfully helpful, friendly and supportive. Perhaps surprising, the parts have often been less expensive than buying them anywhere else, even from on-line GM parts vendors. I especially want to commend Tom Mcgill (who is always cheerful and sarcastic) and parts manager Ernie Ommans. While I haven't purchased a car here lately, I have looked at some and gotten price quotes. In each case the sales person was completely honest and transparent and it always felt like I was dealing with a family member. I know that I was always quoted the best price possible. I highly recommend this dealership. More
In 2009 I purchased a 2009 Suburban 2LT from Andy at Suburban and had a fantastic experience. He was very patient and more than willing to work with us and our budget. We traded in two cars and the prices we received were more than $2,000 more than was offered to us anywhere else. We never had any problems and the follow ups for service were exemplary. Our only glitch was that Toyota Financing, the lien holder on the two vehicles that we traded in, claimed that Suburban never paid off either vehicle. Andy assisted us every step of the way, and went as far as getting up copies of the cancelled checks showing all of the correct information and receipt by Toyota and contacting Toyota for us directly. Recently, unfortunately the 2009 Suburban was involved in an accident and the insurance certified repair center did additional damage to the vehicle. When we discovered that we would have to replace the vehicle and that another party would be responsible for the value, we went directly to Suburban and Andy. Andy and his "team" spent more than 3 weeks working with the other party and the finance company to arrange a deal that all said was impossible. In the end, we had a new 2010 Suburban LTZ with all the extras that we wanted and no change in payment. I know for a fact that Andy spent hours on the phone with multiple parties and went the extra step to make sure that we were updated daily. Additionally, there were many times that Andy stayed late to assist us. We are customers for life and owe our loyalty to Andy Wrenbeck and his dedication! More

Prior all the service on my 2006 STS had been perf NOT HAPPY!! I Used Ann Arbor Suburban Cadillac for the first time last week last week 11/2 – 11/5. Prior all the service on my 2006 STS had been performed at the Brighton Cadillac dealer. The car was in the shop for a dead battery and 2 lights. After 3.5 days of driving a junk rental I received my car back still with an out headlamp. I walked around the showroom for 30 mins waiting for my rental car and did not have one sales person talk to me. Thanks for making our U.S. auto companies look so bad. You might not know it but you’re the face of Michigan’s life blood. I am going to Novi Cadillac now with the hopes of a better experience. More
