As a hobby I work on '70s hotrods, often with swapped modern GM engines and transmissions. I particularly enjoy rebuilding transmissions with custom parts to handle very high power levels; I then post my modern GM engines and transmissions. I particularly enjoy rebuilding transmissions with custom parts to handle very high power levels; I then post my research on various online auto forums such as ls1tech.com. For all this I often need special parts from a wide range of years and models. I have found the entire Parts Department a pleasure to work with; they have always been very patient and diligent helping me find the special parts I need. Obviously I never have a VIN-number and it can take a long time to find the desired part. I think they see me coming and look forward to the challenge. I would particularly like to thank Todd and Glenda that have often helped me and Parts manager Ernie who clearly has set the right tone for this department. More

Larry Gocha is an outstanding (and well-informed customer service consultant). Prior to Larry's return, I'd had a few frustrating experiences at Suburban with ongoing issues on my vehicle. He has provided service consultant). Prior to Larry's return, I'd had a few frustrating experiences at Suburban with ongoing issues on my vehicle. He has provided extremely efficient service, ensures that I'm never (to-date) overcharged, knows which routine maintenance needs to be performed WHEN, and understands key maintenance and service issues associated with my vehicle. His mechanical background is a real asset along with his no-nonsense approach to customer service. More
Sales team used a total bait and switch. Internet advertised car as a 2002. They sold car representing it as a 2002. Four days later I get a call from my insurance company stating that the dealersh advertised car as a 2002. They sold car representing it as a 2002. Four days later I get a call from my insurance company stating that the dealership called and that they had given the wrong VIN#. Car was actually a 2000. Yet after further investigation, car has two VIN #'s. Car broke down. They advertise 150 point inspection. Not done!!!! They advertise 3000 mile, 3mo, pt warranty. Yet not honored. No results when contacting manager and Head of operations, Michael Mosser, has yet to return any calls. BEWARE! This dealership is made up of thieves!!!!! More
Mr. Yanko is very professional and customer-oriented. My repair was simple--replacement key fobs for my 2008 Cadillac DTS. But because they were mostly broken there was a real chance they weren't going to be covered under our bumper-to-bumper warranty. Dave did some research and made it happen! The savings to us was close to $100 and in this economy that is nothing to sneeze at. I've always had good dealings with this dealership so it's good to know that with money tight everywhere people like Mr. Yanko at Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac honors a customer by refusing to nickel and dime them! Great job! More
I dropped my car off at the body shop for some minor crash damage done to the front bumper. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the office and I was immediately helped by the body shop manager, Domin crash damage done to the front bumper. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the office and I was immediately helped by the body shop manager, Dominic Magliocco. He already had my claim packet that was sent over by my insurance company. I dropped my car off on a Monday and I was called on Tuesday morning telling me that I could pick it up. The turn around time on the repair was shorter than the original time estimate. The staff did an excellent job on my bumper and it looks good as new. The paint shop staff also repaired a scratch that was on my door. I can't even see where the scratch on the door was now. Even during my wait to meet with the paint shop staff I had a wonderful conversation with one of the young ladies in the body shop office. She could have easily left me standing or sitting there but she's was nice and pleasant enough to indulge me in a conversation until the paint shop staff came out. More

Dave Yanko, Suburban, and my Cadillac SRX have been the best automotive customer service experience of my life, and for perspective I am near retirement, and a picky engineer! The few small items that have best automotive customer service experience of my life, and for perspective I am near retirement, and a picky engineer! The few small items that have needed service have been handled very well by Dave Yanko, he is the best service writer I have ever dealt with, taking the time to listen respectfully and capture the details yet keeping things moving and efficient for me and the dealership- nice balance! Dave is very helpful and straightforward. Also, the Cadillac free loaner car program makes service visits a no-tension, no-hassle experience. My car is taken care of while I drive a new Cadillac loaner for as long as needed- how tough is that? I didn't realize that loaner service feature when I bought my used SRX from Suburban, that alone would have been a major reason to buy this vehicle. More
I had a problem with my car's cam lifter that manifested prior to the end of my warranty period but then went away when I was going to bring it in originally (naturally). When I did bring it in, now just p prior to the end of my warranty period but then went away when I was going to bring it in originally (naturally). When I did bring it in, now just past warranty, it was treated by Suburban and David as warranty work. Besides that, the repair went very fast. I was very pleasantly surprised. As an added bonus, they washed my car as well. I know that is a small thing, but it never gets old. I highly recommend Suburban and David Yanko. More
