Dave Yanko, Suburban, and my Cadillac SRX have been the best automotive customer service experience of my life, and for perspective I am near retirement, and a picky engineer! The few small items that have best automotive customer service experience of my life, and for perspective I am near retirement, and a picky engineer! The few small items that have needed service have been handled very well by Dave Yanko, he is the best service writer I have ever dealt with, taking the time to listen respectfully and capture the details yet keeping things moving and efficient for me and the dealership- nice balance! Dave is very helpful and straightforward. Also, the Cadillac free loaner car program makes service visits a no-tension, no-hassle experience. My car is taken care of while I drive a new Cadillac loaner for as long as needed- how tough is that? I didn't realize that loaner service feature when I bought my used SRX from Suburban, that alone would have been a major reason to buy this vehicle. More
I had a problem with my car's cam lifter that manifested prior to the end of my warranty period but then went away when I was going to bring it in originally (naturally). When I did bring it in, now just p prior to the end of my warranty period but then went away when I was going to bring it in originally (naturally). When I did bring it in, now just past warranty, it was treated by Suburban and David as warranty work. Besides that, the repair went very fast. I was very pleasantly surprised. As an added bonus, they washed my car as well. I know that is a small thing, but it never gets old. I highly recommend Suburban and David Yanko. More
Bob Allen was friendly, knowledgable, and very professional. When it became apparent that my car would be in the repair shop for an extended period, he provided me with a new Cadillac as a loaner professional. When it became apparent that my car would be in the repair shop for an extended period, he provided me with a new Cadillac as a loaner car at no daily charge. He was able to find a way to extend my warranty so that the repair costs on my transmission were covered, which saved me significant money. He called periodically to update me on the status of the repairs, and called me the day after I picked up my car to assure I was satisfied with the repairs. He definitely helped me get through this stressful period with as little disruption as possible. More
Dave was absoloutly wonderful and accommodating. He went so far over and above any service I've experienced before at this dealership. He's also very kind and I felt as though I was treated as a person as o so far over and above any service I've experienced before at this dealership. He's also very kind and I felt as though I was treated as a person as opposed to just another customer. I feel he's definitely an asset to the dealership and without a doubt, to the service department. More
Mark Brown sold me a 2003 Saturn Vue and was very friendly and took $500 off the price of the vehicle when a minor dent was noticed. After 10 days of driving the car, the transmission failed and need friendly and took $500 off the price of the vehicle when a minor dent was noticed. After 10 days of driving the car, the transmission failed and needed to be replaced. This was covered under the warranty so was no cost to me. I worked with Larry O'Sullivan and he was very helpful with getting me into a free rental while it was getting repaired. Two months later (still under warranty) my ABS failed and I needed a sensor replaced. I worked with Larry Gocha and was told this was not covered by my warranty, and that it would be $300 to repair. I spoke with the GM, Mike Mosser, who worked with me and the service department to lower the cost of the repair to $80, parts only. I am extremely appreciative of the cooperation of both Mike Mosser and Larry Gocha to work with me, since the vehicle has only been owned by me for only 3 months. One minor complaint, which is typical of service departments, in my opinion, was the lack of calling me back after my first call-in on 8/3 to Larry O'Sullivan about the ABS issue. However, he might have been on vacation, I'm unsure. I called again on 8/13 and both Larry Gocha and Mike Mosser called me back with in 10 minutes both times I left them messages. I will definitely come back for service and oil changes on this vehicle, and the new trans is under a 1-yr warranty. Another very minor complaint on the sales department is lack of salesman check-up on customer satisfaction. I never heard from Mark Brown on my happiness of the vehicle after I purchased it, or after being in the shop two times in 3 months of purchase. There would be great benefit towards the relationship between the salesmen and customers if there were a program in place that alerted the salesman of customer complaints or service calls on newly purchased used vehicles. Overall VERY happy with the service department and the prompt fix of the ABS problem. UPDATE - when I picked up my vehicle, I was notified that my rear brake pads were getting thin, so the dealership replaced them FREE OF CHARGE!! Amazing customer service, I will definitely be back!!!
