Subaru of Wyoming Valley

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Subaru Wyoming Valley. Half a month ago, I reached a price agreement with the dealership and even paid a $500 deposit as part of a virtual deal. I was provided with a worksheet detailing the car info and price. The dealership informed me that they only handle car pick-ups on Fridays so I have to wait for another week after the car is delivered. I went in today to finalize the deal. Everything seemed to be going smoothly; I signed all necessary paperwork and was ready to drive off in my new car. However, the manager Mark intervened at the last moment, stating they were canceling the deal without providing any valid reason. They apparently regret the price they agreed on when the car was still in transit and have a much more ambitious price now because the car is on the lot. They requested me to accept an additional documentation fee which was not shown on the worksheet they sent. I even chose to accept it because I drove 3 hrs to be there, but they still refused to sell the car after half an hour of discussion. Their main point of contention was their "right" to choose whether or not to sell the car...... It's deeply disappointing to see a dealership not honor an agreement, especially after investing so much time and trust into the process. Prospective buyers deserve transparency and commitment. I hope no one else has to face such unexpected changes in terms during their purchase. More
