AJ Owens was our salesman, he texted me information when he said he would & never used a high pressure sales approach. Shawn & Matt were also great to talk & deal with. My husband and I assumed since this is a larger dealership we would be just another sale but we were treated by everyone on a very personable level. This was worth the 3 hour drive we made to purchase our new vehicle! Thank you again AJ! More

I bought a used vehicle and they worked well with me coming down on the price as much as they could even though it was listed right at retail value! Fun salespeople and they make it simple! Would buy again some day. More
Would do it again The dealership itself is very modern and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My salesperson Jimmy Bolden is the man. The experience that The dealership itself is very modern and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My salesperson Jimmy Bolden is the man. The experience that I have had here is by far the best car buying experience that I remember and I have had over 50 cars in my lifetime. I have never had a dealer that was willing to ship the car at no cost to my door that wasn't a very high-end auto. And when I needed the car earlier and they couldn't get it to me on time. Jimmy went into action and reimbursed my airfare, had me picked up from the airport and because I got there late he arranged to pay for one night stay at a hotel so I would have a good night sleep to drive the 10 hours home the next day. I love the car so much that I have one at our home in Europe as well. If there is a drawback to owning a Subaru is that I didn't know that the new accent was coming out so soon I would have waited. But with this kind of treatment, I might just purchase one anyway. I guess I better get my name on the waiting list for the new Accent now and I will be heading back to Subaru of Wichita to get it. Thanks for the service guys you all are the best. More

Safe cars + friendly staff We first visited Subaru of Wichita December of 2016 and purchased a 2017 Subaru Forester. The dealership itself is very comfortable and has good drink We first visited Subaru of Wichita December of 2016 and purchased a 2017 Subaru Forester. The dealership itself is very comfortable and has good drink and coffee options as refreshments while you’re there. Staff is friendly and helpful and were very understanding when our sleepy toddler needed to join us. We did paperwork while sitting in lounge chairs with a sleeping toddler on me. Just shy of one year later I was in an accident with my Forester with my two year old in the backseat and I was 24 weeks pregnant. We hit a deer head on at highway speeds. The front end of my Subaru smashed in and all of the many airbags deployed (with the exception of the passenger dash airbag as there was not anyone riding there). Before I could even realize what had happened there was a Subaru Starlink representative coming over the car speakers saying they’d detected a collision. They then called emergency personnel (also letting them know I was pregnant and to send an ambulance), they called my husband who was listed as my emergency contact, and called Subaru roadside assistance since we were going to need a tow. At the time of the accident we were on a dark highway without many landmarks. Aside from knowing what highway we were on it would have been difficult for me to tell emergency personnel our specific location. That was not a concern with Starlink as they had our exact location and were able to give that information to dispatch. I was monitored at the hospital overnight so we could keep an eye on the baby, but all of us came away from the accident injury-free. We didn’t even have a scratch or bruise to be found. The car definitely did it’s job taking the brunt of the impact and keeping us safe on the inside. When we were informed by insurance that our car was considered totaled there was no question that we’d be heading back to Subaru of Wichita to purchase another Subaru from them. We had another another great experience at the dealership just as before. Our two year old son was thrilled to be reunited with all of the balloons he actually remembered from the time before. And just like the time before he ended up letting one float up to the very high ceiling. Not to worry, the staff has plenty of fun ways to retrieve those runaway balloons :) Can’t find a bad thing to say about Subaru and this dealership in particular. I’m now a Subaru customer for life! Professional and friendly customer service. Betai was so friendly and knowledgeable. He wasn't pushy or overbearing, he really had our best interests in mind. He knew everything about the vehicle that we were interested in. When we decided that we did not need all of the extras, maybe in a future purchase, he wasn't pushy or demanding. He respected that and we moved on. I could not have had a better sales experience. 5 stars! More

Extremely Positive Sales Team Experience Our experience with Subaru of Wichita can only be described as extremely positive. We were from out of town visiting family in Wichita and decided to continue our search for a new Subaru at the local dealership. The warm welcome we received was, to be honest, unexpected as we were used to somewhat more confrontational sales experiences from dealerships we had visited in another state. Grant Brintnall and Joe Cordell assisted with our search by arranging for multiple test drives and fielded multiple questions we had on the vehicle options structure that helped us zero in on what we needed. I would highly recommend this dealership. Their pricing is very good too. More
Friendly but Incompetent My car would barely drive, so I took it to Subaru for service. The transmission seemed like it wouldn't change gears, the speedometer wasn't working, and the check engine light was on. I didn't have an appointment, so I wasn't surprised by the 4 hour wait for a diagnosis. They said they found the problem, gave me a loaner car, and implied it would be fixed the next day. 3 days later was when I finally got the call that it was fixed, however. In the interim, I tried to call to get an update on my car several times, but I was only transferred multiple times or told Tyler would call me back, which he never did. Maybe there was nothing to say, I don't know, but in the end they said it was fixed so I went to pick it up. It was not fixed at all, however. The mechanic that worked on it drove it around to the front for me, but somehow he didn't notice that the speedometer still wasn't working or that the check engine light was still on. I noticed the light before I even got out of the parking lot with it, and upon pulling out onto the road, found that the speedometer and transmission still weren't working properly, either. It would change gears but seemed to have trouble doing so, which resulted in very jerky and rough acceleration. I pulled over immediately, and it was late by this time, so I called Subaru and talked to a guy named Steve. He said to bring it back and had the loaner car waiting for me, which was great. The next day, Tyler calls me and tells me I'm going to have to pay for another diagnosis. This initially ticks me off, but I assume that it's because for my warranty I'd have to pay the deductible for every part that's replaced, so I say ok. I don't even bother trying to call this time for updates, and no one calls me until 5 business days later, when they tell me I can pick it up. Turns out, the wiring harness had been severely damaged, which wasn't a warranty repair. If it was so damaged, how was this missed during the initial inspection and diagnosis? I'm certainly no mechanic, but it seems like I was only charged a second time because of laziness the first time. Also, why did I get blindsided by a three-hundred dollar charge? Once they realized it wasn't going to be a warranty repair, why wasn't I contacted? I would have said ok regardless, but I would have liked to have been asked. With their exceptional waiting room, loaner car service, and how friendly everyone is (to your face, at least), I want to give Subaru a good rating. However, the lack of communication, two-week repair time, shoddy initial repair, and feeling cheated out of a hundred-dollar diagnosis fee negates all of the good aspects, so I can only leave a fair rating.
