The service team at Wakefield is the best and i highly recommend them. Also Subaru of Wakefield provides you with a new Subaru as a loaner vehicle while your car is in the shop, its a great benefit as i have been to other dealerships that provide you any old loaner they have around. Additionally they have a nice waiting area with ample seating and available internet access if you need to get some work done. More
Worst service experience After replacing the engine block on my Forester (new car had a high oil consumption which is a know problem in '14 Foresters) they left the alternator After replacing the engine block on my Forester (new car had a high oil consumption which is a know problem in '14 Foresters) they left the alternator with an abnormal noise. After a second visit they fixed the alternator but forgot to install 3 bolts. The car was making a rattling noise so I returned for a 3rd time. The service manager attributed the noise to normal heat shield vibration. Bottomline, I had to look myself and found that two of these bolts were supposed to secure a front plastic cover under the engine and the third was preventing the exhaust pipe to vibrate (what was causing the rattling noise). Poor Service I just bought a used car and it had a high speed shake in the steering wheel, indicating a tire balance problem. When serviced for this issue the deal I just bought a used car and it had a high speed shake in the steering wheel, indicating a tire balance problem. When serviced for this issue the dealership did NOT balance the tires but instead ground down the rotors and did an alignment. Why? They wouldn't say and they wouldn't give me a copy of the alignment numbers. When I got in the car after this service it still had the high speed shake in the steering wheel AND now, additionally, it pulls to the left, indicating that the alignment is off. I called and made a second appointment to have both issues resolved. The second time around they again would not show me the alignment numbers. They said they checked the tire pressure, balanced the tires and did an alignment. The car drives the same. Nothing solved. Both visits I had to ask for a receipt for the work done. When I asked to speak with a manager, they told me there was no manager on duty at the dealership on the weekend so they would have a manager give me a call on Monday. No call. I did email the service director and have not received a reply as yet. So thought since no one wants to talk to me I’d write this review. More

The work is always done right, on time and I am always treated like I am their only customer. Larry, Christine, Tom and Donna are dependable, knowledgable and courteous. The people who actually do the maintenance and repairs seem to always get it right. The best thing I can say about the Service Department Team is that "I TRUST THEM". More

Sadly I cannot buy another Subaru because of a the poor quality and value for the dollar (worst,most expensive car I have ever owned). However that should not detract from the fact they did the best they could, even better than their manager to listen and inform myself and other customers that I could see (their manager needs a serious less in Customer Service 101). After numerous issues with my Subaru Tom and Christine simply handled (calmed me down) and got me serviced, the took the sting out of owning a Subaru and I owe them. I'm buying a Honda and only can hope their service people are as nice. More
So I purchased to 2 used vehicles on the same day. A 2011 Toyota and a 2003 Subaru. I was told that they stand behind their used cars. So I had to bring the Subaru back d/t Check engine light on, rough 2011 Toyota and a 2003 Subaru. I was told that they stand behind their used cars. So I had to bring the Subaru back d/t Check engine light on, rough running, power streering noise and speedometer light bulb was out. On the way there the car over heated. They replaced a leaking radiator, power streering pump, spark plug and all the lights in the instrument cluster. No charge to me. Very good. They stood behind what they sold. Well, trouble again. No heat/defrost, blowing cold air and overheated yet again on the way back to dealer. They sent techician with coolant and filled radiator and we proceded to dealer. The looked at the car and decided they want to keep it to besure all is fixed. No loaner cars on site (all out) so Justin drove me from Wakefild to Salem, MA. Very nice. Joe said they will fix the problem even if they had to rebuild the engine. I clicked Yes on Would you recommend this service center in hopes they will fix this problem correctly. I will be back on to post out come. More
