I went to the service center to have a part replaced in my car after a stranger damaged it in a rage. The part was unavailable in stores, but several members of the service team quickly pitched in and were my car after a stranger damaged it in a rage. The part was unavailable in stores, but several members of the service team quickly pitched in and were all searching different avenues for me to get the part I needed. What happened with my car was really upsetting and the support I received from the service team made things so much easier to deal with. I worked primarily with Ryan Cambray, who did everything he could to get this issue and some others taken care of on my car. I highly recommend giving them a try. More

This was my first time going to this dealership for service after being directed to by Subaru Of America because my brand new 2020 Forester was having some electrical issues and my windshield had crack service after being directed to by Subaru Of America because my brand new 2020 Forester was having some electrical issues and my windshield had cracked, which there is a class action lawsuit for these windshields which is the reason Subaru Of America wanted the car at the dealer. When I got there I was told by someone claiming to be Mike the service a manger that I needed to have my windshield replaced before they would even consider looking at the car. I explained that SOA wanted to document everything that was going on with the car. The person again insisted that he was not going to do anything until the windshield was replaced. I asked if I could have the glass company come to the dealership while they worked on everything else that was wrong with the car and had them install a new windshield and then the service department could realign the cameras and the guy told me no. So I took the car home and made an appointment for 3 days later and when I returned again, I asked for Mike, and was told that he was busy in a meeting but someone else would help and and it just so happened to be the person who was claiming to be Mike last time. This time he said that he would only be able to test drive my car and unless there were codes that were present he was not going to be able to do anything else. Even though SOA wanted the car there so they could figure out why there was an issue. He then told me I was not going to be able to get a loaner because he couldn’t put me into a loner indefinitely. I had never asked for a loaner indefinitely . I simply just wanted my cameras realigned and the car looked through and fixed. I drove 40 minutes each way just to be told that this dealership didn’t want to help me. I finally took the car to Metrowest Subaru and they were extremely helpful and worked with Subaru Of America. Metrowest didn’t even charge me for ANYTHING after being quoted $250 from this place. I’d strongly suggest going to Metrowest Subaru and not wasting your time with this place.. I’m not sure if the owner of this page read this whole review, but the windshield was replaced and I brought the car back and was told that there was nothing they could do other than calibrate the eyesight and road test the car which is what I wanted done in the first. HORRENDOUS If I could give then ZERO stars, I would. I don't have the energy to get into my entire story, but I'll suffice it to say that I was treated SOOOO bad If I could give then ZERO stars, I would. I don't have the energy to get into my entire story, but I'll suffice it to say that I was treated SOOOO badly in both the service and parts departments. I wrote a factual Google review. Then, because I had no choice but to take my car back to a Subaru dealer, against my better judgment, I called Subaru of Wakefield back to see if I could get a loaner car while mine was being fixed. I asked for the service manager, thinking I couldn't possible be treated as badly by the manager as I was by his underlings. Boy, was I wrong!! Nemo, the service manager got on the phone. One of the first things he did was bring up my google review. I was shocked, it was as if he'd JUST read it, since he recognized my name. He almost immediately said to me "I read your Google review, and here you are, bad-mouthing us on one hand and looking for help on the other." All I could reply was "wow!" He replied "yah, 'wow' is right. There are plenty of other Subaru dealers you can give your business to". I was in shock... It took me three days, but I'd finally reached the store manager, Sal Babagallo, to report my horrendous encounters with his staff. Surprisingly, he was just as rude himself, questioning ME and practically calling me a liar... I'd rather junk my (fairly new) car than to ever have to step foot in there again. I don't know how they stay in business. If you want to be treated badly and you don't really give a hoot if your car is correctly diagnosed, then go to Subaru of Wakefield. I'll be driving over an hour, but I'll will be taking my business to AUTOFAIR SUBARU OF HAVERHILL, where the customer service has been exemplary. They listened to me and therefore correctly diagnosed my car. Their customer service is excellent. Check them out. They know how to listen and correctly diagnose a car, and they certainly know how to treat people right. More
