Friendly, honest, and refreshing From the moment we stepped onto the lot, we could tell this was a different kind of car buying experience. We were immediately warmly greeted by John From the moment we stepped onto the lot, we could tell this was a different kind of car buying experience. We were immediately warmly greeted by John Cheshire, one of the sales staff. John's relaxed and friendly demeanor put us at ease. It was easy to tell that he enjoyed working at Wakefield Subaru, and that he had vast experience and knowledge of the vehicles. My wife and I had understandable trepidation about the whole car buying experience, but the entire process did not feel like any pressured sales tactics, including the finance staff member Ken. All of the various options were clearly laid out, and there did not seem to be any judgements made on our decision whether to accept something or not. We met their service staff and all were very friendly. We especially thank John Cheshire for his cordial honest professionalism and interpersonal skills helping us through the process. More

I visited a few different dealerships before settling on Subaru of Wakefield. I had a fair amount of back and forth on the phone with them to agree on a price. Although they did try to upsell me a little it was less than other dealers and they honored the price I was quoted. Perry was very helpful and the whole process happened with minimum drama. I would certainly recommend them if someone was looking for a Subaru. More

We appreciated that the website had the entire new car inventory online, with the dealer invoice price listed. We essentially chose the vehicle we were pretty sure we wanted prior to arriving at the dealership. Once we did visit, John Cheshire was our sales rep... he was extremely courteous and low-pressure, gave us all the additional information we needed, and accommodated our schedule to meet us at the dealership in the VERY early morning to pick up our new Outback. We feel that we got a fair price with no haggling or aggravation whatsoever. Highly recommended! More

They were willing to work with me on the price of the new vehicle and the value of the trade-in. They were thorough in showing me how the car worked and seemed excited for me to drive it off the lot. They have been great about keeping me informed about scheduled maintenance and service updates. The dealership is lovely, easily located off route 128, and everyone there is friendly. The only downside to my experience was working with the finance representative. I felt rushed through the process and I wasn't convinced that he presented me with all of the options. In the end, I decided to go elsewhere for financing, which delayed my purchase of the vehicle. More

He was incredibly informative ab I was in the market to purchase a new car and had the pleasure of dealing with John Cheshire at Subaru of Wakefield. He was incredibly informative about the car throughout our three visits while I was trying to decide on a vehicle and it was a quick and painless experience from start to finish. Having never owned a Subaru before, he went through the vehicle from top to bottom (other dealerships barely showed me the trunk, let alone talk about the safety features) - and he did the same after I purchased the car so I was completely comfortable working all the internal stuff (not to mention the fact that he came in on his day off to do so. Much appreciated!). Would not hesitate to recommend this dealership, and John, to friends and family in the market for a new car. More
