Frank, our sales person, was straightforward, knowledgeable, and efficient. The process of agreeing to the final price was respectful and pretty transparent (and there were no surprises at paper work time). The few minor issues that I wanted attended to before taking possession of the car were all fully addressed. I got a nice safe car for my daughter at a price I was comfortable paying with no ill feelings whatsoever. Not my usual car buying experience. Next time I need a car my first stop will be Subaru of Wakefield. More

John managed to do for me what no other dealer was able to: make me feel like I was being listened to when I described my dream car, and my budget. He was patient, understanding, knowledgable, and most importantly, he was NEVER pushy or aggressive as some salesmen can be. He was able to give me a great deal on an incredible new car, and made the purchase a streamlined, stress free process. I can't say enough good thinks about John! More

Horrible Experience My wife and I tested 15 different cars and car brands. We went to Subaru of Wakefield twice. First time we did a test drive was with Sydney Wandyck. H My wife and I tested 15 different cars and car brands. We went to Subaru of Wakefield twice. First time we did a test drive was with Sydney Wandyck. He looked totally disinterested in making a sale and never said anything about the car unless I said something about it, in which case he replied with “yes”, “no” or “I don’t know”. Didn’t even know how CVT works and was on his phone for the duration of the drive. The second time we met with Perry Mallias, almost the same deal as Sydney with the exception that he just gave us cars to test and went back inside. But we liked the Subaru Legacy with added on package and decided to go with it. So I emailed ten different Subaru dealerships in my area and tried to negotiate the price. I was offered a couple of good deals but eventually decided to go with Subaru of Wakefield because they were the closest to me and have promised to match the lowest price and give me the exact car that I want. Anna Rosa, the internet sales person, even offered $250 price guarantee on top of the match. So I told them I am ok if they keep that $250 as long as they don’t give me any issues and try to renegotiate the price when I come in, my wife simply hates that as do I. Plus their car MSRP was $300 more than the lowest offer so I thought I was going to be nice in order to avoid any “misunderstandings”. And wouldn’t you know it, there was a “misunderstanding”. When we came in Anna Rosa took a minute to remember who I was even thought I told her 30 minutes prior that we are coming in to buy a car. That was the red flag for me right away. Once we sat down Al Mazin, the sales guy, presented us with the offer that was $700 more than the price we agreed on. After I pointed out that’s not the correct price he said he couldn’t find any emails from Anna. So I showed him the emails. Then of course he had to go check with the manager and Anna; you know how that goes. After 15 minutes he comes back with the price reduction of $200, still $500 more than agreed. So at this point my wife is pretty aggravated, she told me specifically she did not want to go through this “misunderstandings”. So I’m thinking, ok, let’s see the car and then we can talk again. Boy was that a surprise. I asked for either silver or carbide exterior with dark interior; instead Al presented us with gold exterior and white interior. I’m thinking gold looks nice, I can live with that, but we have a kid in the back, no way am I buying a car with the white interior. Al tried to convince us that they can find a car we are looking for but needs time and MORE MONEY. We, of course, walked out with no car. Then they tried to apologize via email for the “misunderstanding” because some things can be “confusing”. I’m an analyst; I work with confusing things all day long. Of course I told them to go to xxxx and don’t try to contact me again. And of course they did contact me again. And on top of that they tried to blame Quirk Subaru from Quincy for “misleading me with their deceptive advertising”. I mean who does that?? What kind of a xxxxxxx blames other dealer for offering a better price after what they did to us? But there is a happy ending to this story. We found the car we wanted at the Natick dealership, walked in with the agreed price and walked out 30 minutes later with the smile on out faces. Thank you Subaru of Natick. More
