Very frustrating purchase We purchased a used Subaru Outback from Subaru of Wakefield and had a horrible experience. We met with Mark and test drove the car, we noticed a noise We purchased a used Subaru Outback from Subaru of Wakefield and had a horrible experience. We met with Mark and test drove the car, we noticed a noise and mentioned it to our salesman who assured us the service department looked over the car. We filled out the paperwork and were told we would be called the next day by 10am. At 6pm the next day I had to call and find the salesman to try and finish the deal. The financing was no what we expected and we walked away, they called back and offered a 0.25% discount which they could apply to the financing and I accepted. When I went to make the first payment I found I had been lied to about the discount and it was not applied, I was given the higher rate. We added a remote starter to the purchase, we were promised this would be installed for when we picked it up, it was not. They offered to have a company come out and install it who canceled on us twice, our salesman did nothing to help in this case. The noise began to worry us and we brought the car back to dealership and had the remote starter company plan to install it at the visit. The service department told us all the bearing in the wheels were shot and needed to be replaced, along with a list of other items they said they would have fixed if they had inspected the vehicle. We had also asked since the vehicle was not inspected when we picked it up that they do it when it was in, again they did not inspect, instead sending us a check so we could take the time to do it. We finally had the car working well and thought we were done, but recently the car started acting funny braking, we took it to another Subaru dealership who said the tires were shot and should never have been sold to us in that condition. I asked the dealership to look for our warranted which we had purchased from Subaru of wakefield and they could not find us in the system. When they called Subaru to ask about this they were ignored and hung up on. Very dissapointed we ever stepped in this place, would not recommend to anyone. More

My first experience buying a New Car from a Dealership I had plenty of negative or subpar experiences at other local dealerships. I was feeling overwhelmed and frustrated with the process before a fellow I had plenty of negative or subpar experiences at other local dealerships. I was feeling overwhelmed and frustrated with the process before a fellow Subaru driver recommended Subaru of Wakefield. They mentioned this is a reputable family run business and would not treat me like I had been treated at some other dealerships. A bit doubtful, I first read reviews online from YELP and was pleasantly surprised by the numerous accolades and 5 star reviews. I decided to call and ask if there were any cars I was interested on the lot. The young lady who answered, Kristin, was polite, informative, and answered all my questions without trying to sway me to come in. She also provided me with some great tips on how to research my car more fully and have the right information before I step foot into the dealership. The quotes she provided over the phone were far and alone the best I had received either by phone or email from other competitors. After considering it, I decided to come in on an evening. As soon as I stepped foot inside I felt comfortable - nobody was hounding me as I took a look at the various show cars and when somebody did approach me, they asked if I was looking for anybody in particular. I mentioned Kristin and her manager's name, Alcir, and the gentleman, John Cheshire as I would later learn, brought me to the area and introduced me. I then listed off the car I wanted to look at and do a test drive. John spent a decent amount of time providing me all the information I needed and answering my numerous questions about the car. He then facilitated a test drive on the highway and at night time, so that I could get the full experience of driving a Subaru during a routine car trip. He showed me the technology and allowed me as much time as I needed in the car. Never at any point did I feel pressured or rushed to speak about numbers. In fact, the one offer John did provide for the specific car I wanted, was well below what I had seen in terms of pricing. I felt relieved and pleased to be working with a patient, knowledgeable, genuine person. In fact, I felt everybody in the dealership was kind and approachable. I even had a chance to meet the internet sales manager, Theresa, who introduced herself and offered assistance if I ever needed it. After a day or two to think about the car, my husband and I returned to take another look at the car and understand the technology. We were not planning on staying long nor did we plan on sitting down to discuss the final decision but we did. It was near closing time but Alcir, the Sales Manager, stayed back and answered all questions I had, and went through the numbers with me as well as any accessories or add-ons. I never felt pressured or pressed for time by Alcir. I even shared some of my other dealership experiences with Alcir and he never bad-mouthed or spoke negatively of his competitors, showing me he is a truly genuine sales person that does not need shady tactics to get the job done. I appreciated his time and energy spent with myself and my husband, when he easily could have been with his family. Throughout our interaction he was courteous, professional, and provided excellent customer service from the first second I met him, to when he walked us out. I am thrilled to have done my business with Kristin, Theresa, John, and Alcir. I look forward to returning when my automobile is available. I am also happy to join the Subaru family and will continue to tell all my contacts to visit Subaru of Wakefield. They will not regret it! More

Al went above and beyond Al was able to get me the Subaru Crosstrek in sapphire blue that I wanted. There was an issue with the radio that required the car be driven like a 1 Al was able to get me the Subaru Crosstrek in sapphire blue that I wanted. Al took care of all that and he also got the plates and reminded me of what I had to do for the insurance, to be able to get my car on time More
