We purchased our 2011 Outback from Subaru of Wakefield last year. We still drive the 2001 Legacy we purchased there and gave up our 1990 to my inlaws in 2001 when it had 200,000 miles on it. Our car was prepped, options added and ready to go in 3 days. At pick-up, Perry reviewed everything about the new vehicle and made sure there were no questions.Buying a new car is an important decision and can be very stressful.Wakefield Subaru was highly recommended to us by friends and our experience there was very positive from beginning to end. Upon entering Wakefield Subaru I was impressed in all areas. I have been shopping for 2 months for different makes and models. We looked up to Mr. Perry Mallias and he said "May I help you?" and quickly we said yes. I knew this was the right person and the right place to do business. The place was welcoming where everyone said Hi and have a great day. Another salesperson came up to help with the GPS and even he was accessible to help with no attitude. Perry asked and answered all the questions we had. He also said to call on him for any help or questions. We did buy the forester and we are very excited. When we picked up the car, Perry explained every thing about the vehicle from a brochure to buttons to tires and so on. I was so impressed with the overall experience I even traded in my car and got a fair deal. Thank you all! More
This was my first visit to the Subaru Wakefield Service Department. I came in on a Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. to replace a tire on my Subaru Impreza. And even though I did not have an appointment, Chr Department. I came in on a Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. to replace a tire on my Subaru Impreza. And even though I did not have an appointment, Christine was pleasant and confident that she would be able to easily assist me. In addition, Christine was well versed on the details of my extended warranty plan and breezed through the paperwork. I was thrilled that the Service Department was open on Saturday, and that the tire could be ordered and delivered within an hour. It was an easy and painless experience. More

The last time I purchased a car, this was exactly how I felt (previous car was not purchased at Subaru of Wakefield). This experience was the polar opposite. Justin was helpful, informative, and did not once make myself or my husband feel pressured to buy the Outback we were looking at. Once we did decide to buy the car, Justin was very thorough in going over buying vs. leasing (we weren't sure which way we wanted to go). He clearly laid out both options, and once again, did not push us in either direction. Signing the paperwork was easy and hassle free, as was picking up the car. He even called to follow up on programming the blue tooth. Overall we had a great experience. I would recommend both Justin and Subaru of Wakefield to any friends or family purchasing a Subaru. More
Hearing a right side rattle and an unnerving crunch when backing up, I immediately headed for Subaru of Wakefield. Despite my having no appointment and a very limited time frame, Christine offered to put me backing up, I immediately headed for Subaru of Wakefield. Despite my having no appointment and a very limited time frame, Christine offered to put me on the afternoon repair schedule. She reassured me that the problem might be minor and even drove the car herself to see what she could learn. Within an hour, my car was returned to me after the technician discovered a wayward tack had somehow lodged itself in the brake rotor. In addition, the repair work was covered under my warranty. I am so appreciative of Christine's help and understanding and of the service department at Subaru of Wakefield. More
I was looking for a good end-of-year discount on a new 2012. Friends and car-rating lists got me to look at Subaru. I have never owned a Subaru before, and have mostly driven Ford or Mercury products, t 2012. Friends and car-rating lists got me to look at Subaru. I have never owned a Subaru before, and have mostly driven Ford or Mercury products, though have purchased Toyata and Honda for family members. My car at the time was Mercury Montego, but I wanted something more efficient and not so "old man-ish". Larry Marcus was the principal salesperson who helped me check out the Subaru offerings. He is a quirky guy - in a fun and engaging way. I enjoyed looking at the cars with Larry, and quickly moved from the Forester to the Outback for more room and better mileage. I stayed with the smaller engine for price and mileage. The good mileage comes from the Continuously Variable transmission. I took a couple days to investigate the CVT to make sure that the "new" technology would be OK and reliable. Many people reassured me of this, including some mechanics that I called. The new CVTs are strong and will last. The Wakefield dealership is small and "homey" and everyone helped each other there. Joe B spent a lot of his time answering my questions & joining me on a test drive when Larry was tied up with another customer. Negotiating the trade-in and the 2012 discount was a smooth, fast process that did not feel forced. The sales manager is friendly and trusts the sales team with reaching a deal that feels good to both sides. The vehicle prep team did a great job, including leaving off the dealership logo (something that I always request). Overall, my experience was very good, and I would recommend these guys. More

I visited a few dealerships while shopping for a new Subaru Impreza and Joe (along with the rest of the people at Subaru of Wakefield) were by far the most pleasant to deal with. The initial quote I got seemed fair (although my experience here is limited) and when another dealer offered me a slightly lower price they matched it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new Subaru. More
