I have owned a forester for 10 years and there was no question I wanted to replace it with another forester.I contacted four dealerships by phone. I really had a simple set of questions. 1. What were the question I wanted to replace it with another forester.I contacted four dealerships by phone. I really had a simple set of questions. 1. What were the differences in current models. 2. What was the availability for the model and color I wanted. 3. What was the price. What I experienced except from Jon at Subaru of Wakefield was a hard sell without addressing my questions, demand that I come in to see the great deals, claims that no one could bet their selling cost, in some cases a sales person talking so fast I could not understand him, another who could not remember my name after 5 minutes into the discussion, and with one dealership I had to call four times just to find out what the car a wanted would cost. Jon immediately treated me as a person, not just a potential sales target. He spent time building a relationship based on my questions and interests. He answered all my questions on the phone within 10 minutes without any of the hard sell I experienced with other dealership. He was honest, straight forward about the information I needed and relaxed in his communication style. After one hour phone research I called Jon back and said he has made a sale. I told him I was buying the car because of how he treated me on the phone and nothing else. I went in the next day and met with Adam to handle the paper work. I did not even need to test drive the car. Adam proved to be another remarkable sales person. I actually had fun talking with him about many common interests. He was not in a hurry to have me sign the papers and get on with the next sales prospect. It was the most pleasant experience in my life in buying car. He wads clear, complete in all his information, addressed everything I asked about, Jon came in to work and sinceI bought the car without ever meeting him I went over and gave him a big hug of thanks and appreciation. I even told other potential prospects that this was a great dealership and they had to buy their car from Wakefield. As a final request I asked Adam for a green ballon, (since I choose that color). When I went back to pick up the car would you believe he handed my two green ballons. All additional options were complete when drove away and everyone in the dealership met me with a thank you. I must say it was one oif the most remarkable experience in what traditionally has been a very stressful experience. I can not speak more highly about everything and everyone I experienced at Subaru of Wakefield. They are truly a unique car dealership. More
Subaru Wakefield gave me a promising offer regarding the 2013 Legacy and also were optimistic about trading in my 2007 Honda Civic; most importantly, they made good on both promises. The agent, Adam, forthright and energetic, and didn't waste time on runaround deals or distractions. I signed the same day I came in. What's more, because of last minute timing, I had to pick up my car on New Year's eve; despite the lateness of the occasion, Adam was solicitous in giving a fully detailed review of the car, even when it meant staying past closing time (on New Year's Eve!) The dealership staff was likely very accommodating about registering my new plates within a day. Overall, I highly recommend Subaru Wakefield. More

The salesman who took care of me was, Larry Marcus. He was very friendly, very helpful and shared his knowledge with me. If I had a question, no matter how big or small, he answer it. When I picked up my new Forester, he took the time to explain every detail of the car. I really liked that! My experience with this Dealership and it's employees' was very enjoyable. Working with a Sales Associate like Perry Mallias is the experience that all car dealerships should duplicate. Perry's friendly, professional and knowledgeable approach makes the purchase of a new vehicle easy and problem free. Since we were unsure exactly what vehicle to pursue, Perry recommended a test drive of multiple vehicles. We accepted Perry's recommendation and drove multiple cars over a multiple days while trying to make up our minds which car was best for us. No matter what questions we had, Perry was able to answer all inquiries in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. When the time came for financial discussions, there were absolutely no issues or surprises. All financial details were discussed in a friendly and pressure free atmosphere and the paperwork was straight forward and easy to understand. Service after the sale is also an important component on why we keep coming back to Subaru of Wakefield. Not only is the Service Department friendly, efficient and performs all work in a timely manner, but our Sales Associate Perry often finds us during routine service appointments and asks how things are going and if he can assist in any way! John Cheshire worked well with us on our first visit where we weren't quite ready to buy. 2 months later when we were ready to buy he was out on illness and Lawrence Marcus stepped in and sold us a 201 where we weren't quite ready to buy. 2 months later when we were ready to buy he was out on illness and Lawrence Marcus stepped in and sold us a 2013 Crosstrek for a very reasonable price. Everyone there was very courteous and the new car is great!!! More
