I looked at one other Forester at another dealership but within a couple of days I was back at Subaru of Wakefield to buy my new car. I've had it for almost 2 weeks and just got back from a weekend in Rangeley, Maine. It performed as expected on the snowy roads! Thank you! More
Larry was great. He wasn't the typical salesman, he was just friendly (great sense of humor), patient, and made himself available to us. He listened and was extremely helpful throughout the process. He never tried to pressure us into anything and he didn't try to move forward with purchasing until we were ready. We got a great deal on the car and although we don't exactly enjoy negotiating, the process was also relatively quick and painless. When we went to pick up the car Larry spent almost an hour walking us through the inside and outside of the car. He setup our phones with the bluetooth in the car and answered all of our questions. My wife and I have both bought new cars in the past and that was the first time someone was that helpful after we were handed the keys. We were introduced to the service manager and everyone we interacted with through the process was very friendly. I'd recommend Larry and this dealership to anyone. More
I came into the dealership intending to just test drive the XV Crosstrek. I was directed to Larry and right away he was friendly and helpful. I liked the car so much that I came back the next day with someone else, to get a second opinion. Larry remembered my name and was happy to provide me with more details. Larry was quick to give me his contact information, including his cell phone, and insisted that if I had any questions to give him a call or send him a text. I made an appointment to come back later in the week after I had checked the details with my insurance company. Larry was able to work with his manager get me a good deal on my trade. There was a comedy of errors through this process that were no fault of the dealership or Larry and though the whole thing, he was friendly and very helpful. It was clear that he wanted to make sure that I was happy with my new car and was willing to do anything to make that happen. It was his no pressure attitude and sense of humor that made me want to get the car from him. I always recommend Subaru to anyone in New England looking for a new car and now I will also recommend Larry Marcus and Subaru of Wakefield! More
