We came into the showroom at Subaru of Wakefield and was pleasantly greeted by Al Mazin. We weren't sure what exactly which type of car we were looking for. Al talked with us to see what vehicle would meet our needs. Al suggested the 4 cylinder Outback which would be roomy and yet get excellent gas mileage. It also had the XM radio and backup camera which we asked for. We were concerned that the 4 cylinder wouldn't be powerful enough, so Al said "Let's give it a test drive and then if it's not powerful enough, we'll try the 6 cylinder vehicle". To our surprise it had plenty of power. He also showed us how well the AWD tires worked in the snow. We were very impressed with the time and patience Al took with us to answer all our questions about the car. When it came time to pick up the vehicle, Al spent over an hour to explain all the functions of our new car. Al Mazin was an excellent salesperson, no pressure, lots of patience, and anticipated what we needed. We also appreciated the sales manager's willingness to negotiate to our satisfaction, and the business manager's pleasant attitude without trying to sell us unwanted extras. Larry was great. He wasn't the typical salesman, he was just friendly (great sense of humor), patient, and made himself available to us. He listened and was extremely helpful throughout the process. He never tried to pressure us into anything and he didn't try to move forward with purchasing until we were ready. We got a great deal on the car and although we don't exactly enjoy negotiating, the process was also relatively quick and painless. When we went to pick up the car Larry spent almost an hour walking us through the inside and outside of the car. He setup our phones with the bluetooth in the car and answered all of our questions. My wife and I have both bought new cars in the past and that was the first time someone was that helpful after we were handed the keys. We were introduced to the service manager and everyone we interacted with through the process was very friendly. I'd recommend Larry and this dealership to anyone. More

I liked the car so much that I came back the next day with someone else, to get a second opinion. Larry remembered my name and was happy to provide me with more details. Larry was quick to give me his contact information, including his cell phone, and insisted that if I had any questions to give him a call or send him a text. I made an appointment to come back later in the week after I had checked the details with my insurance company. Larry was able to work with his manager get me a good deal on my trade. There was a comedy of errors through this process that were no fault of the dealership or Larry and though the whole thing, he was friendly and very helpful. It was clear that he wanted to make sure that I was happy with my new car and was willing to do anything to make that happen. It was his no pressure attitude and sense of humor that made me want to get the car from him. I always recommend Subaru to anyone in New England looking for a new car and now I will also recommend Larry Marcus and Subaru of Wakefield! More
