I received a call back one day after leaving an online inquiry, Negotiated the price over the phone and made an appointment. The rep was standing outside when I arrived and brought me right to the car I selected from inventory, We talked about the car in detail and I took it for a test drive. While I was already sure I was going to purchase a Subaru- and I beleive the sales rep was too- I was not rushed to the sale. The employee went over the importance of feeling comfortable driving the car and making sure it met my needs, When I went to pick up the vehicle I was given a tour of the dealership and met many of the people I will interact with when servicing my car in the future. I appreciated that especially since it was busy Saturday. We also spent quite a bit of time in the car going over the different features. It was an all around great experience. I would recomment this dealer. I also sent an inquiry to the Subaru dealership in Belmont 2 times. The first time was a month before I contacted the Wakefield location and did not hear back until I received en email -not a phone call- 2 weeks after I purchased from Wakefield. More

I chose to check out Wakefield Subaru instead of Ira, which is much closer to my house, after having a couple really bad experiences with Ira Toyota in the past. I couldn't have been happier. Wakefield Subaru is definitely more of a family feel as opposed to a corporate feel. Justin was my salesman, and I totally appreciated him talking to me and my wife like we were friends and not putting on the cheesy, fake friendliness that many car salespeople lay on. He was very knowledgeable about the product and we chatted about other brands that I was considering, which he also knew a lot about. My test drive didn't feel hurried and when we got back he gave me and my wife some space so we could discuss the purchase. When it came time to talk numbers, he showed me dealer invoice (which I knew before I got there because I had done some research) and it was the same number that I had found. The finance guy Chris got me an even better rate than I had expected and by the time I left I was the proud owner of a 2013 Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon. I am totally looking forward to picking it up and building a relationship with this dealer. More
I went online to Costco for their auto pricing service and was directed to Wakefield Subaru. I called their point person and was told they'd have me meet with a sales rep. They asked what model I wanted a and was directed to Wakefield Subaru. I called their point person and was told they'd have me meet with a sales rep. They asked what model I wanted and told them a Subaru Outback. I met the Costco rep and was introduced to Larry Marcus. He showed me the Legacy as well as Outback and the Costco discount. I told him I was more interested in leasing a car and felt the Legacy might be a better option. He worked out the numbers for me, including the discount, and the car fit into my budget. Unfortunately I was running to a doctor's appointment. Although he seemed disappointed we weren't closing the deal that day, I explained I'd be back over the weekend to finalize plans. All in all, I felt they were above board. They respected my time. They allowed me to put $1000 for a downpayment and the remaining $2000 on an AMEX card. When I went buy to finalize the deal, I asked about a remote starter. Once again, all the options were explained including the cost of the remote. I also purchased from them a Guide Point security system. The benefits of having this system, plus the fact that I "own" it and can transfer to another vehicle, were explained to me in full. More

When I was ready to buy, he worked well with me during negotiations, and he was definitely willing to answer all of my questions and work with me on pricing. I first emailed Subaru of Wakefield with interest in a new 2013 Impreza or Legacy. Rhett Sanders was very responsive and got back to me within a day. He was quick to help me with anything I needed. I went in a few days later and met with Lawrence Marcus. I immediately got along with "Larry". He was extremely polite, and had vast knowledge on both vehicles I was interested in, as well as every other Subaru model. Going over my options and cost was a breeze with Larry, and we settled on a great price for my new Legacy. Larry clearly cares about the customer more than anything. I wanted to pick up my new car ASAP, but needed him on-site to do so. He actually came in on his day off so that I could get it right away, and took as much time as possible to go over the car, show me the shop, and introduce me to management. Stand up guy, would recommend him to anyone interested in a new Subaru. More
