I had a very disappointing experience with Subaru of Sterling regarding the purchase process of a 2016 Tesla Model S, and I feel it is important for other buyers to be aware of how the situation was han Sterling regarding the purchase process of a 2016 Tesla Model S, and I feel it is important for other buyers to be aware of how the situation was handled. After negotiating the deal, I paid a deposit and finalized the agreement in good faith. I was clearly presented with two options: purchase the vehicle “as-is” or pay the full price with the understanding that the dealership would complete necessary repairs before delivery. I agreed to pay the full price based on that commitment. All terms and communication were documented via text messages, and I have saved records of the agreement. Based on this commitment, I declined another vehicle opportunity and proceeded with this purchase. However, after the deposit was taken and the agreement was in place, I was later informed that the dealership may not proceed with the sale and that the vehicle was considered “not reliable.” This raised serious concerns, as such an assessment should have been made before listing the vehicle, negotiating terms, and accepting a deposit. The shifting of terms after agreement and payment created confusion, wasted time, and demonstrated a lack of consistency in honoring commitments made during the sales process. In my experience, this situation reflects poorly on transparency and professionalism. Buyers should be very cautious, ensure all commitments are clearly documented, and consider exploring alternative dealerships that maintain more consistent and reliable business practices. I personally would not feel comfortable proceeding with future transactions here based on this experience, and I would encourage others to do thorough due diligence before engaging. More

I have used the Subaru of Sterling Express Service for years and have always been well taken care of. The Service Advisors James and David are always helpful, and David takes special care to let me know w years and have always been well taken care of. The Service Advisors James and David are always helpful, and David takes special care to let me know what services may be needed on my next visit (new brakes, tire rotation, etc) so that I can better budget.
