We always dread making a new car purchase, and this time around we approached the task with more than the usual trepidation, because the car we wanted was not available in our state. Day West Liberty Subaru, an almost five hour drive from our home, had our dream car, and from the first contact everything went smoothly. Subaru Steve Morton responded quickly to my email, on his day off, and referred me to Rayon Lee, who patiently answered all my questions by phone. On our arrival at the dealership Howard Brooks greeted us warmly and got quickly down to business. General Manager Ron Shiwarski came out to greet us and handle our trade-in. The paperwork was a little complicated, as it involved two states, but Howard and Carl Petro were on top of things. Carl explained all our options and took care of all the details efficiently. Everyone was friendly, but not pushy, and the transaction was super easy and smooth. We came away from the deal feeling that Day West Liberty would be the place to go for our next car purchase, in spite of the distance! Thank you, Steve, Rayon, Howard, Ron, and Carl! More

This was my first Subaru experience, and the easiest and least stressful purchase; it was a pleasure to deal with the Day Subaru staff. Matt Oravetz was able to zero in on which Subaru product might meet my expectations for comfort, handling, features, and budget quite unobtrusively. Considering the blitz of sales ads by area dealers and number of people in the showroom, Matt promised a test drive very quickly, and came through with an Impreza. He took enough time to prep me for the differences in the design and engineering changes for the model (our son has a 2 yr.old. Outback which I had not driven)and did not "dumb-down" the explanations, but allowed me to ask for clarification and followed through with specific information at once. He allowed for a true test drive so I was able to assess the Impreza's capabilities for challenging conditions in a part of Pittsburgh noted for its steep hills and tight spaces. Afterward, he allowed us to discuss the options available without pressure; searched for the features I wanted and was extremely personable through the whole process. After delivery of the car to the dealership, he thoroughly covered all of the features specific to my model by demonstrating them with me. Once again, he was very knowledgeable without hesitation. I would recommend him to all; whether it is just his personality; the Day Subaru dealer protocols; or the Subaru Corporae protocols he follows, he was an excellent salesman. My experience with the Finance Office (Carl) was also the best experience I've had with any dealership, and I expect nothing less from the Service Dept., when the time comes to bring my Impreza in for service! More

Thought I would drive the Forester and maybe the Outback, but on his suggestion I drove the Impreza and went no further. I really did not need that much of a vehicle. The redesigned Impreza was explained to me and I felt sure of all that it offered. (safety, cargo, AWD, better MPG, and even a sunroof! So glad he put me in the right driver's seat. Can't wait to take it on a road trip. Joyce Giebel PS It isn't always pleasant for a woman to make such a serious purchase. This experience was comfortable. Pricewise I did not compare other dealers, I trust my price was fair. I only know that the Subaru is quality, dependable, and holds its value. Never thought I could afford to drive one, probably will for a LONG time. More
Day Subaru had a very busy day when we went there to complete our sale. Under those circumstances, we could easily accept some delays getting thru the paperwork. However, we made the effort to schedule an appointment for the transaction, but still had to wait over an hour to sit down with the finance guy. Nice guy and he got us out of there quickly, but spending an hour and a half waiting with no updates on where we were in the process was probably below standard. And there was no coffee int he coffee pot... I will take my new Subaru to this dealer for service, and give them a chance to redeem themselves... we will see... More

My salesman Robert was very friendly and easy to work with. The sales manager, Jimmy was also nice to work with and got me a great deal on my forester.
