3rd time is a charm I brought my Forrestet in for a recalled airbag replacement. This dealership is always friendly & easy to deal with. I don't have any way to know if the airbag was properly replaced, but after leaving the dealership I noticed the heater didn't work. I took it back the next morning & they quickly fixed the unconnected cable. After leaving the dealership, I noticed that the air conditioner wasn't working properly. I took it back a few days later & they quickly reconnected the hose to the vent that had been left loose. Now, everything works. 3rd time's a charm. Service salesperson Brandy was great to work with. Disappointed When I purchased my car, the salesman touted their service as a reason to convince me to purchase from Day West and forgo the additional appointments When I purchased my car, the salesman touted their service as a reason to convince me to purchase from Day West and forgo the additional appointments to see other cars I had scheduled that day. I conceded and purchased my Volvo. This was my first service experience. I needed the scheduled maintenance and an inspection. At the time of purchase, I was promised a loaner vehicle, but advised that was no longer available when I called to schedule my appointment. I dropped my car off around 8:30am and never received a call. I called at 5pm (1 hour prior to close) and was advised my car had not even been seen. Under the promise that my car would be a priority the next day, I agreed to leave my car overnight. The following day, I did not receive a call until 4pm and was again advised the car wasn't done. They offered to deliver the car to me the next morning, if I would leave it overnight again. I agreed, but then received another call 30 min later and told I could pick the car up by 7pm that night. I was advised that the inspection was done and the oil changed. I asked about the additional maintenance and advised that only an oil change was required and that the maintenance alert would be reset. When I arrived to pick up the car, the invoice included a charge for the oil change, which was also promised as "free for life" at the time of purchase. They cashier did make the correction and I was not charged, however, when I got into my car to drive home, the "Maintenance Overdue" alert message was still lit. I went home and did some research and found that the recommended maintenance for the mileage on my car included a number of items in addition to the oil change. Although everyone was very nice and apologetic during every conversation, the overall experience was very, very disappointing. I'm saddened that I will have to find another dealer to service my vehicle and will not recommend this dealership for either purchasing or servicing any vehicle. More

All Fixed up Great Customer service Went out to start up my car one morning and there was an issue, called day west liberty Subaru(DWLS) right then and they got me in at MY first availab Went out to start up my car one morning and there was an issue, called day west liberty Subaru(DWLS) right then and they got me in at MY first availability. Got back to me later that day with everything that was going on and gave me options as to how to proceed. Worked with me on what repairs were needed and some preventative maintenance while they were in there and others that could be done in the near future. Shows that they do really care about their product and customers. I highly recommend talking with the service team here as they are all top notch. I've been bringing my cars there for the past 6 years and have nothing but nice things to say about any of my experiences there. More
