We had a very good experience at this dealership, mainly because our salesman, Joe Bonzo, was so easy to work with! When you arrive, they greet you at the door, or even go so far as to come outside and gre because our salesman, Joe Bonzo, was so easy to work with! When you arrive, they greet you at the door, or even go so far as to come outside and greet you. We never felt pushed/harassed, yet there wasn't any dilly-dallying either. Joe asked what we had come for and led us to a couple of options, the first of which ended up being the car we bought. He was very knowledgeable re: the make/model and various packages all Subarus. He was also up-to-date on what the industry and the media was saying about Subarus in general, and our model in particular. It may have been timing, luck, fate, what-have-you - but we got an exceptional deal on our Forester. For the first time in my life, I didn't even feel inclined to haggle over the price- which is unheard of when you think of buying from a car dealership- but it's true! Joe was very easy-going, affable, and knowledgeable. I am 100% satisfied with the experience and 110% satisfied with our salesman. Thank you very much, Olathe Subaru, for my barely used Forester! I came to Olathe Subaru knowing exactly what Subie I wanted (except the color) and at what cost. Joe was very respectful and diligent about helping me achieve my goal. He was not the stereotypical pus wanted (except the color) and at what cost. Joe was very respectful and diligent about helping me achieve my goal. He was not the stereotypical pushy salesman. I found him to be very personable and forthcoming with information regarding the specific Subie I was looking at and I never felt like he was trying to "SELL" me a car. I am very happy with the rapport that I built with Joe and even took a stack of his business cards with me so I can refer anyone who is looking to buy a Subaru or a good used car from Olathe Subaru. I know I can count on Joe to continue to offer support for any questions I might have about my new XV Crosstrek. I truly enjoyed getting to work with him. More
We just purchased a 2013 Crosstrek Limited desert khaki. They were very helpful on going over options and pricing on our new Crosstrek. They didn't have exactly what we wanted on the lot so they ordered wha They were very helpful on going over options and pricing on our new Crosstrek. They didn't have exactly what we wanted on the lot so they ordered what we wanted(was going to take 2-4 months to come in but they ended up getting one on a trade from another Subaru dealership so we got it earlier!). They have been very helpful scheduling getting our accessories we wanted installed on our new vehicle, they are even giving us a car to drive while they have ours. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone! We will be using them again for our next vehicle purchase! More
I have had my 2010 Forester for 2 months..Overall, I am well pleased.. I did notice the road noise on a trip to St. Louis, this was not a major issue. I traded in my Honda for the Subaru Forester, I thought I would never change.. but the price of the Forester was worth considering and the car is built very well. I am glad I have made the switch. My son and I was just looking at cars on a Monday, I felt it was time to go into the winter with a newer vehicle that I felt comfortable in. Fortunately, Olathe Subaru was closed so we could walk and talk and not get interrupted. When we left we begin to do some research about Subaru Vehicles and I was pleased with the info I found. So we decided to go back on Saturday and get a test drive.. Joe, our salesman, was excellent.. He was friendly, even though we had some lofty expectations.. My son and I feel that he exceeded our expectations, so we bought the car. I have great things to say about Joe Bonzo, and for the Olathe Subaru dealership, and my new Forester.. I can't remember the name of the financial guy.. he was just okay.. More

We are like most and do not care for car shopping and dealing with car dealers. We had done our research before visiting the dealer before hand. We did a drive by to check out the Mitsubishi Outlander dealing with car dealers. We had done our research before visiting the dealer before hand. We did a drive by to check out the Mitsubishi Outlander in person. We thought it was interesting that nobody chased us down (as they had plenty of opportunity), which we really appreciated. If I have a question I will ask. We returned and after looking at several models we were greeted by Joe. Joe made the experience much more pleasant than most sales persons. He seemed very knowledgable and provided me with answers with confidence and most important, he was NOT pushy. Joe seemed to be very down to earth and personable. He actually made the "game" more fun, although I think he still won (on the price), I was still pleased with my purchase. I would recommend all to deal with Joe if they are shopping for a Mitsubushi or a Subura. However, the good experience came to an end in the finance department. I will not mention a name in this area, but the finance person was extremely pushy on attempting to sell many other items in the arena of warranty almost to the point of insult. I had came this far in my purchase and was confident that the Outlander was a solid choice that was backed up by a great warranty, 2 years free maintenance, and 5 years free oil changes along with the other manufacture warranties. However, this person continued to be very pushy. I had a previous bad experience with extended warranty on a GM product and vowed to never purchase again. I was given a list of what was not covered by the warranty, which ironically was everything that went wrong with my last vehicle.......... Needless to say, we went through with the purchase. Even after the debacle in the finance department, I would highly recommend dealing with Joe, a car sales person like him is rare and you will be pleased. More
