Dealership looked a little old and needs more room for parking. Parking was the biggest issue. Brad was very helpful and Ariel was nice to deal with. One suggestion would if a sales person wants to smoke, smoke in the back of the building. After we had purchased out new car we went to sit outside to wait for it to get cleaned since it was a nice day. Unfortunately we were down wind from a smoking sales man. (Not anyone we dealt with). I purchased a new 2014 Subaru Forester. The sales consultant was friendly and not at all pushy, and the low pressure sale made this a really enjoyable car buying experience. Ted did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend him and this dealership to my friends and family. Ted was eager to help, patient with my many questions and demands (I wanted a non-red pre-owned Forester), and helped me decide on the best car for me. I had my mind set on getting a used vehicle, but with the great service I received, the excellent product you sell and the willingness to negotiate price, I walked out of the dealership as the proud owner of a 2014 Subaru Forester. My parents also joined me on the day I bought my vehicle and had nothing but nice things to say about Ted and the dealership. He was very knowledgable of the product and helped with any concerns I had. I have no complaints to give, only want to thank you for helping me during what can be a stressful time! More
Upon entering Olathe Subaru's showroom floor, my wife and I were cordially greeted by friendly staff. Ariel Frink was the salesperson with whom we worked on getting this deal done. Ariel was a fantastic salesperson; she was knowledgeable about all the vehicles that could potentially fit our needs and she was never aggressive or pushy. I prefer her style of sales, and she was one reason we decided to go with Olathe Subaru. Ariel was also available to answer my questions through e-mail and did so very well. Ariel and Jeff Massey, the sales manager, were able to beat the discount we could have gotten at a different Subaru dealer, which was another reason why we chose Olathe Subaru. The discounted price allowed us to go with a new vehicle instead of a used one and stay within our budget. When it came time to purchase, we were under a time crunch, and Ariel made sure that the staff knew and accommodated us. When it came time for the extra warranty and loan stuff with the financial guy, he did his best to go through all the information in a hurry and give his best recommendation. He was flexible enough with the pricing and interest rate in order to keep us on budget while still enabling us to purchase additional coverage. My wife was particularly happy about the extra coverage, as she had it with her vehicle and was very sad when the coverage ended. In the end, we are very happy with our Subaru purchase. I love driving the car and wish my commute was slightly longer in order to stay in the car a bit longer. Ariel and the rest of the staff were focused on how they could earn our business; while they did everything correctly in order to earn our business, the car we bought nearly sold itself. I would highly recommend Olathe Subaru and Ariel. More
It has been 14.5 years since the last time we bought a new car and the prices increased quite a bit. but the internet made the shopping much more informative and looking at all the choices out there the O new car and the prices increased quite a bit. but the internet made the shopping much more informative and looking at all the choices out there the Outback was the best choice for our needs. this will be my first Subaru and we have owned Mazda and Nissan cars in the past and keep them for many years and many hundred of thousands of miles and hope to the same with this car, Buying this car was a good experience and Ted made the process less stressful. No high pressure from him just a willingness to help find the right car for our needs. I will recommend him to my friends that might be in the market for a car. while there are other Subaru dealers in the metro area, I felt a friendliness at Olathe Subaru that at the other dealership even though is was a Costco approved dealership. I like supporting my local businesses. More
Ted was great. My wife and I have been intending to start the shopping process for a new car and took advantage of a holiday visit to relatives in KC (we live in Chicago) to start the process by taking a tes the shopping process for a new car and took advantage of a holiday visit to relatives in KC (we live in Chicago) to start the process by taking a test drive of a few vehicles we have been considering. Right off the bat we let Ted know that we would not be buying a car today, and he could not have been more accommodating, gracious, informative and helpful. Ted was incredibly generous with his time-he did, as I am sure is required, try to "sell" us, as I imagine he should do (I understand this aspect of the car business and respect it) but did it in a way that was not pushy, demanding or impatient. All the info he provided along with a test drive of two vehicles really sold me on Subaru again (this one is for my wife, who has a 2000 Subaru) and, though we are still shopping around the entire experience convinced me that Subaru will be hard to beat in our consideration. Experience was so good that, should we decide to go with another Subaru, I intend to contact Ted before we make a final decision to allow him a chance to have our business, even though we are out of state. With family in the area we would consider a visit back to purchase should it be a possibility-our experience was that good. More
