Great dealership for many reasons: -brand new building with free snacks and drinks haven’t used service yet but there were hardly any people in the waiting room-they have a bunch of bays for service -mo with free snacks and drinks haven’t used service yet but there were hardly any people in the waiting room-they have a bunch of bays for service -more new cars than any dealership I’ve been since pre-covid -great price for my 2024 Solterra, their first offer was less than another close dealerships last offer! -Fast and easy financing and paperwork -almost zero sales pressure or tactics, they seem to me like they know they have the best prices if you shopped around so let’s stop haggling and get the deal done. If you want a Subaru I would make this your first stop More

My mother is interested in a newer used vehicle and wanted me to come along to assist her. We stopped in to see the inventory and were quickly greeted by Derrion Brooks. He took the time to show us wha wanted me to come along to assist her. We stopped in to see the inventory and were quickly greeted by Derrion Brooks. He took the time to show us what was in inventory, answer our questions, and explain Subaru’s certification and warranty. Derrion wasn’t pushy and even after we mentioned we just wanted to look at things today and not make a decision just yet, it was still a very pleasant and helpful experience. Sales force is very professional and helpful. Thanks Derrion! More
Service department has lost my trust! Beware of their recommendations and get second opinions as needed!!! I have a 2015 Subaru Outback with 99.5k miles. Based on the recommendations whe Beware of their recommendations and get second opinions as needed!!! I have a 2015 Subaru Outback with 99.5k miles. Based on the recommendations when I purchased the vehicle, I have done everything I can to maintain it, as our plan is to keep this vehicle as long as possible. I have been taking our vehicle to the Olathe location for oil changes, as I have felt what better place to get an oil change than the dealership that should know these cars inside and out. A couple months back was my last oil change, where they did the standard full synthetic changeout with multi point inspection. Everything went as before, no issues, and was on my way. A couple weeks back my low oil light came on, and I noticed I still have a couple months or 3k miles until my next recommended change. I called the dealership to get their thoughts as I don’t know enough about cars, and they said due to the high miles it could just be burning oil quicker and that I could always check myself. I decided to take it in just to confirm this theory, so I knew for sure and then could plan on adding oil inbetween changes. A one-hour appointment turned into a little over 2 hours of waiting where I heard no word from my service advisor. After going up and asking the status they tell me they found a big issue that requires immediate attention. He reads me off what the technician is recommending which is a Full Engine Reseal Kit. They said during the inspection they found the vehicle to be low a quart and a half. Engine leaking from valve covers, cam carriers, cross over pipe and starting to seap from the upper oil pan. Total cost to fix this would be $5,320.20!!!! I frustratingly questioned this as 9k miles ago I did my recommended 90k mile service visit that costed around $1k and nothing was noticed. A few months ago when I got the oil changed, nothing was noticed. All of a sudden, I have this major issue requiring a full reseal kit??!! Besides the low oil level light in my car coming on, I havnt noticed any oil leaking from my car, no smoke, no bad smells, nothing. So if I am leaking this much oil, where is it going??!! My service advisor says he will show me a few areas so pops the hood the points out areas of heavy build up where he says this isn’t recent, this has built up on these areas over time. If that is the case, then why has this never been brought up when I bring the car in??!!! Would a mulit-point inspection not see what appears to be right in front of their face? I declined to do this, and decided to take it to another recommended mechanic outside of Subaru. I gave this other mechanic the detailed sheet of what Subaru said I needed done so he knew exactly what they were saying and wanted him to confirm. I also showed him the areas the service advisor said were leaking, one of which was on the coolant line! This doesn’t run oil through it! This mechanic sent me close up images and details of what he found in comparison. Based on their findings, they found minor leaks, no major issues whatsoever, which they said they could fix for $503!!! A $4,800 difference!! As this mechanic agreed, if I was leaking a quart and a half of oil, you would visibly see it either on the ground or on the cover under the engine, but there was NO heavy oil saturation on it besides a small drip he showed me!I have now found a trusted mechanic that will have all my future business. This mechanic saved me from spending THOUSANDS of dollars with Subaru on things that did not need fixed. This dealership has lost my trust and will NEVER bring my car back to them again. Would recommend other Subaru owners do the same, and find better mechanics. More
I drove 50 miles to BUY a 2022 Outback Wilderness with 35,000 miles on it. They had advertised this vehicle for over 2 weeks listed at $31,500. When they dropped the advertised price I immediately set up 35,000 miles on it. They had advertised this vehicle for over 2 weeks listed at $31,500. When they dropped the advertised price I immediately set up an appointment to go go look/buy this car. When I got there and looked at the car I could tell it had not been detailed yet. No big deal as I figured they could get it done. After filling out the paperwork I was notified that it would have to go through certification to get the rest of the 100,000 mile warranty. I was told this would take a week and that it would be ready the following Saturday. No optimal but I was cooperative as things seemed to be going ok. I wrote a $500 check to hold the car for me. Fast forward to the next week. I hadn't heard a peep from them and it was Thursday before I was expecting to go pick up the car. I texted them and was told it would be another week as parts were on back order. I told them this was unacceptable and to void my check and mail it back to me. I got the usual lip service and had to give them a hard NO and to cancel the deal. Then it took them over 2 weeks to mail my check back to me. I told them I couldn't understand why the certification process hadn't been completed BEFORE they advertised the car and got no answer to my question. I absolutely would not recommend this dealership and I will not be giving them any of my business. In fact, I have decided to forego buying a car at all at this point. This left such a bad taste in my mouth that I can't bring myself to trust any dealership at this point. They have just reaffirmed in mind that car dealerships are just as sleazy as they have always been. They are more than happy to take your money but the crickets come out when you call them out on poor business practices. What they fail to understand is that if they would just treat us right they would have our business for life. More
My wife and I visited Subaru of Olathe in the market for a slightly used Crosstrek. We did not know it was a transparent & market based pricing dealership. Blaine Emerson, sales manager, greeted us and show a slightly used Crosstrek. We did not know it was a transparent & market based pricing dealership. Blaine Emerson, sales manager, greeted us and showed us what they had in stock. He was very patient, and answered all our questions concerning the 2023 Crosstrek we were interested in. We found the price in line with similar cars advertised on line in our region. He gave us time to make our decisions on warranties and financing and never pressured us to get the deal done. He handled the transaction from start to finish and was a pleasure to work with. When it was time to take possesion of the vehicle he had Austin Richardson, Customer Experience Specialist, patiently explain the interior controls and functions. We have no complaints and would recommend Subaru of Olathe to anyone! More
Staff are friendly, but professional. They also gave me good suggestions on how to maintain my car. They did a good job and were quick with getting my car back to me. One problem.
